Yeah right....if you fail your exams you have to listen to your parents lectures everyday;
See your friends in uni while you're at home doing nothing;
Start claiming jobseekers allowance and can't buy stuff you always wanted (bmw m5)

Feel depressed and cry all day and night....
not neccesarily....there are other courses, re-sit options, other careers.... sum people dont go thru eductaion process and make more money than others who do....start doing the right things, make the right contacts, and who needs an education.........its make-believe that the success is through the education system - load of cobblers!
why would you cry all day and night?!

Some people just can't handle the fact that they've failed and get depressed as they were expecting to pass with flying colours.

Better than your parents telling you how stupid, dum, daft, brainless and thick you are.
I used to tell my dad that getting a degree is hard but he used to say if other people can do it, why can't you. And he always compares me with a geeky girl who lives a few doors away from me, she's in her bedroom 24/7 reading books.

I've got a friend in uni who's doing accounting and he got an A in maths in his GCSE's and A-levels and he loves maths!

well, ~~firstly i wish you all get good results in your exams!~~
the issue of education burden in my country is also drawm great attention by the sociey
the students even pupils are under pressures of the studying load, they have to do a lot of homework, attend varous kinds of study classes and take part of frequet exams ~~~
it's really terrible !!~~
but they have to do so,cos every family is afraid that others will do better than you if you dont do like this ~~

I suggest you to retake, people usually do better as they have the done the same unit twice.
But I don't think you should expect your A2 grades to pull your AS grades up, it should be the opposite as AS is more easier than A2 so you should do better at AS and expect your AS grades to pull your A2 grades up.....if you know what I mean. Anyways, Congratulations!
Enough of you....now it's time to talk about myself :twisted:
I too got my (A2) results today and I'm also not too pleased but I got my place confirmed by the uni I wanna go to so parents are well proud.
What happened to Mez....please do tell us if you got your place at uni.

Sociology, most of it I didn't enjoy, feels like a waste. Think real hard about what you want to do and what you want out of this qualification and if you really want to do the course you have applied for that is good.
