The Rise Of Islam In India
Hi All,
This ones really for the people who know their Islamic History (seems to be a constant area of interest for me).
Does anyone know how Islam arrived in India back in the day and if there was any major events that took place at/or around this place e.g. battles etc...
If anyone has any good links or articles on this that would be appreciated too. I only ask as ive been told alot of unsavory things about this topic and would prefer to get my facts right before argueing.

I cant seem the find the relavant material at the moment so im hoping some1 here can help us out.
Im aware that the holy prophet (pbuh) did actually talk to God on a number of occations however i cant seem to remember the specifics. I think this may have been the time when the rule about the 5 daily prayers was established, but cant say for sure.
Can anyone help us out??

Yep, It was during Miraj when the Holy Prophet ﷺ spoke directly to Allah (swt)....
And that conversation is what we repeat in our Salaah...you know that bit we do when we're sitting down "Ateyatu..."
