Biggest protest in UK since rushdie (Trafalgar square)

Do you know who was insulted?

It is the Messenger of Allah(SAW), the most honoured human being to walk the face of the earth.
It is Habiballah (The beloved of Allah)
The one that Allah sent as a mercy to all creation.
The one who brought you the guidance that will save you from Hell Fire.
The one who will be waiting to greet you at the doors of paradise.
The one who is ready and willing to intercede on your behalf before Allah.

Ask yourself, does he(saw) deserve the kind of insult he is getting now? What are you waiting for?

Anas bin Maalik (may Allah be pleased with him) said that a man came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked, "When will the Last Hour come?"(i.e. Day of Judgement) The Prophet ﷺ said "What have you prepared for it?" He replied, "I have not prepared a lot of prayer or fasting or charity for it, but I love Allah and His Messenger." The Prophet said, "You will be with the one you love." (Bukhari)

In another Hadith the Prophet ﷺ said "None of you becomes a true believer until I am dearer to him than his children, his parents, his life, his wealth, his family and all mankind." (Bukhari and Muslim)

lol well Trafalgar Square simply isnt big enough to fit that number of people all at one time, but its possible that 40,000 people visited the protest throughout the day, so i dunno...

I dunno it's a pretty big square - but i'm terrible at judging these things.

I'm still unclear what imams [i]do[/i], other than the friday Khutbah.

anypne who leads prayer is an imam. for that prayer.

When we say Imam we mostly mean people employed by the mosque to fulfil the duties in that mosque. That means being present in that mosque for prayer, and leading it.

(You cannot pay someone to read prayer, or to lead it. But you can pay them to limit where they pray it. - so Imams are technically paid to not pray the 5 prayers anywhere else...)

lol actually i'm not great at estimating either, but that just sounds wrong... :?

aww man, i'm sure we had a thread somewhere discussing the duties of an Imam? leading prayer is a major aspect of an Imam's job, but it isnt the only one either, though unfortunately nowadays this seems to have become the case. 🙁

A spokesperson for The Revival spoke in front of tens of thousands at the Rally which was held in Trafalgar Square, London (Saturday 11th February 2006) showing the Love and Mercy of Rasoolallah (saw).

The brother started of by sending salawat to our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as the crowd of thousands joined him in this virtues act.

The brother raised slogans of both the oneness of Allah and the Prophethood of Rasoolallah ﷺ as the crowd answered in one loud and clear voice Allah hu Akbar and Ya Rasoolallah.

Many points were mentioned by the brother regarding the Love and mercy of Rasoolallah ﷺ

Well done to The Revival for giving the message of our beloved Prophet ﷺ to tens of thousands who were present at Trafalgar Square, London and to hundreds of thousands via the media.
