Do you know who was insulted?

It is the Messenger of Allah(SAW), the most honoured human being to walk the face of the earth.
It is Habiballah (The beloved of Allah)
The one that Allah sent as a mercy to all creation.

Anas bin Maalik (may Allah be pleased with him) said that a man came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked, "When will the Last Hour come?"(i.e. Day of Judgement) The Prophet ﷺ said "What have you prepared for it?" He replied, "I have not prepared a lot of prayer or fasting or charity for it, but I love Allah and His Messenger." The Prophet said, "You will be with the one you love." (Bukhari)

In another Hadith the Prophet ﷺ said "None of you becomes a true believer until I am dearer to him than his children, his parents, his life, his wealth, his family and all mankind." (Bukhari and Muslim)

AS MANY WILL KNOW THE ABOVE POST IS BY SOMEONE REPRESENTING BAKRI'S AL MUHAJIROUN WHO NOW CALL THEMSELVES AL GHURABAA. Noted that the protest is organised in league with more mainstream organisations including the Minhaj al Quran.

No UK publication has printed these cartoons. UK politicians have spoken against them. This is what I mean about orchestrating protests over a figleaf. Of course, maybe this will be a polite demonstration with a clear, acceptable message...

OTOH there seems no justification to protest and the above text is not encouraging.

i don't believe protests achieve very much, call me a cynic if you like. It didn't stop the Iraq war did it, or the hijab ban. I'm sure ppl give out great messages at these rallies, something which we can reflect upon, and most of those who attend have good intentions, but still i ask what does it achieve. Convince me that walking through the streets with plackards and megaphones is beneficial not just for a muslim cause any cause, then i'll seriously think about attending one in the future.

Aren't there other forms of action which are more productive than this?

Wonder what will happen this time...

yeah but showing "who" the public? God can see if we care, He can see our real characters don't need public demos for that?

Doesn't mean i care any less about Islamic causes coz i don't attend, does
it.

Question: these events usually take place for most of the day, on the streets, so where do ppl pray particularly women i've always wondered about that.

Yep..... even if they dont work, its better than doing nothing...

bringing in alot of publicity...could be a big show of support demonstrating in a powerful way to raise the public profile more and to get wider support

however never been to one.

don't get mad guys but in this particular situation enough damage has been done to the public image of muslims so i don't see the point. Right now dua would be the best thing. And it's more powerful than a demo anyday.

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Islam began as something strange, and it shall return as something strange as it began. So Tooba (a tree in paradise) to the strangers." It was asked, "who are the strangers?" He ﷺ replied, "those that purify and correct what the people have corrupted of my Sunnah" (Tabaraanee in al-Kabeer)

Narrated by Muslim from Abu Hurayrah who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Islam began as something strange and will revert to being strange as it began, so give glad tidings to the strangers."

What's your problem? I expect I can ask what I want without you assuming I'm foaming at the mouth. The reason I asked is that al-Ghurabaa believe in promoting Islam aggressively and strictly. I believe this corner of the web has been crafted (mostly) on the side of peace, common sense and a harmonious society. So I'm attempting to establish whether yet again a bunch of extremists are spoiling the good work of others, viz this site; Islamic world affairs generally.

lol.......i found it rather funny, he wouldnt even listen to the presenter...the rest were like 'why on earth is he called to the show', and he was like you could have bought practising muslims to speak and here we have a lady with no hijaab no nuffing hinting at the one one the flat screen. Felt sorry for her bechari..

Salaam, this will be a peaceful protest showing the love of Rasoolallah (saw).

Love for the Prophet ﷺ is a measure of ones Iman and our Iman is completed and perfected only when our love for the Prophet ﷺ exceeds our love for everything else in the world.

"Say to them: If you love God, follow (and love and honor) me, and God will love you" (3:31).

"Say, `if your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your wives, your clan, your wealth that you have acquired, commerce whose decline you fear, and dwellings you are pleased to have, if they are dearer to you than God and His Messenger and to struggle in His way, then wait till God brings His command; and God does not guide the transgressing people'."(9:24)

The prophet ﷺ said "Whoever loves me will be with me in the Garden." Reported by Anas bin Maalik (may Allah be pleased with him)
