yes admin knows the female species well. But try to see it from our perspective. If you're married to someone for a while no problems marriage is going great, you have a child things couldn't be better. But you decide to have another wife no particular reason other than "you can". It's gona make your wife feel like she's not good enough for you. She will feel unwanted, neglected and unloved. All those years spent sharing special moments together will suddenly be taken away from her. She will be the spare tyre. Coz let's face it the novelty of a new wife, will mean the husband naturally spends more quality time with her, rather than the first wife. The first wife, will also have to share moments with a strange woman, and try and be amicable with her. Now that is asking a lot of any human being. How many brothers could make such a sacrifice if the tables were turned.

It may sound rosy to you, but the situation is extremely difficult for most sisters. Only a very few can handle it. In arab countries polygamy is a normal part of the culture, so it's not so difficult to swallow. But sisters in the west are raised differently, you can't expect them to accept a second wife as easily and be happy with it.

However you will have to treat both of them equally and spend time with

Yeah, insecurity and inadequacy are the main reasons.

Jealously also plays a strong part…especially if the new wife is younger or prettier.
