This man is holding open the Quran at a Hamas rally celebrating the party's election victory.
This 'gesture' is made in an Al Qaeda video too. One person holds the Quran open and a few other people hold klashnikovs in front of the Quran.
Muslim Brotherhood members do this also.
Does anybody know whether they open up the Quran at a particular verse or do they just open it at any random page?

The two copies of the Quran being held up appear to be opened at the same page. Anybody know what page it is and what verse(s) they are trying to highlight?
Normally the Quran is opened at a page referring to the martyrs, and generally at Surah Tawbah, according to my knowledge.
