that was a good proposal-and I hope the bling bling that u put on her finger was very expensive

btw any thoughts on where ur going for ur honeymoon? And I'm expecting an wedding invitation OK
lol the ring was nearly as expensive as one of my cars, it's basically a blue diamond in platinum and white gold with 6 paler blue diamonds of descending and hue size to brace it - the blue one is the centerpiece. It took my jeweler in Manhattan a good 5 months to work it out.

Not sure about honeymoons yet, i'd like to go to africa and she wants to go to Rome, New Zealand, or the Caribbean.

WOW looks like ur gonna give JLO's pink bling bling a run for her money

Aye

cursing our muslim brothers is pointless and silly

some people cant come to terms with the fact that there are always going to be difference of opions, and it angers them so much, they resort to slander and insults

shame....never knew the madrassah's taught that....but oh well!

๐Ÿ˜‚

I have a few delaying tactics up my sleeve re Pk and marriage.

But the hair has been like this for ages - nothing to do with marriage stress. But no doubt it will go all white once I'm married.

lol I don't really like pink diamonds, and the idea was to get something that brings out her eyes.

Unfortunately the diamonds couldn't compete.

I suggested Dubai (several times), just starting to make progress (that's where i'd really like to go). Like most people she can't seem to understand that Dubai basically turned from a small pointless city to a sprawling resort over the last 50 years. I'd love to stay at the madinat jumeirah - the burj arab is a ridiculous gaudy monstrousity.

She's also mentioned Cairo, Malta (which isn't the middle east), and Jerusalem in passing.

You're right though, I love arab culture and really seem to click - I love deserts, and simultaneously cannot live without a large body of water nearby (i'm an ocean boy) so they really seem to have the best of both worlds, not to mention they are relaxed.

lol on the other hand she's a metropolitan girl that loves adventures. She can handle seperation from a major city for about a month before she starts getting cabin fever.

lol don't worry about my emails - been having a little trouble accessing my yahoo recently and quite frankly i'm one of those horrible people that absolutely has to reply to every email i'm sent (so if any of you email me... expect a very long conversation)

...just had a Last Samurai moment (go Ken!)

I don't really remember exactly what I said - basically whatever came to me. But the basic jist was she made a remark about how pretty the tree looked and she wished you could see the stars and I kissed her hands which is how I usually start before i'm telling her something important, except this time I put a rather expensive ring on her finger, told her i caught her a star and i'd like her to wear it so I can always find my way home. I think she started catching on at that point because she looked a mixture of happy, terrified, and very surprised. Anyway I told her I love her very much and i'd like to spend the rest of my life showing her and I got down on one knee (the signal for everybody in the square to stop what they are doing - as dictated by NY tradition which is not something one can break) and asked her to marry me.

The funny thing was up until that point I had been trying to think of a line or a clever presentation - or anything really, and came up with an absurd joke which probably would have just been confusing and embarassing.

So my advice to you - just go with whatever you are thinking at the time.

Sirus โ€” Tue, 3 Jan 2006 - 14:09

go with whatever your thinking.....

'if you say no, heres a knife and please kill me as quick as possible?'

Okay not like stream of consciousness go with whatever you are thinking - but if it feels good do it.

...wait that doesn't sound right
