Hey I can cook omelette in a microwave (I have perfected the art. It tastes rather spiffing.)
I can make tea.
I can also dial a takeaway.
I can also walk to some.
and I cannot stand halwa (gajar one can be nice... but its mostly too sweet). I do not eat sweet rice either. Don't like it. come to think of it, there is a small variety of sweet things I can eat.
Supposedly as a kid i would puke if I ate anything sweet (including chocolates... which I can eat now...)
hey best thing to get rid of sweet chocolate taste from your mouth is ginger biscuits. I don't like them, but I occasionally get them for their job in removing the taste.

care to provide evidence for this supposed innovation? The principle is that everything is halal unless it is expressly forbidden, so you have to prove that paratha is an innovation and should be shunned.

Lol...I too hate most Asian sweet dishes...be it kheer, Halwa, Seveya, Gajrela etc etc
When agressive aunties force me to eat, I swallow it whole without tasting it. I don't have much of a sweet tooth either...but I love very spicy Asian food.
And I also, can not stand "parathe" I can't remember the last time I had one...its waaay to heavy and the smell of "aslee ghee" makes me sick.
And to answer the question in this thread...No, I can't make halwa. I don't bother cooking what I don't like to eat.
