So You Love The Holy Prophet (saw)?

Nothing bugs me more then people who adamantly claim then other Muslims don’t love the Holy Prophet (saw)…How on Earth do they know?!

Some people are convinced that they love the Holy Prophet ﷺ more then other Muslims?......How did they reach such a conclusion?

Isn’t humbleness one of the true signs of loving someone?

It is true that Muslims MUST love the Holy Prophet ﷺ in order to taste the sweetness of Iman. The Holy Prophet ﷺ said, "None of you will believe until I am more beloved to him than his children, his father and all people." (Bukhari and Muslim)

Imam Malik never wore shoes in the streets if Madina nor rode on an animal. Despite living so close to Makkah he only performed his Hajj only once because he wanted to die and be buried in Madina. He never related a Hadith whilst standing and used to perform his wudhu, wear his turban and put scent on before transmitting a hadith. He lowered his voice whilst relating them and remained silent when listening to them. He knew the worth and value of the hadith of the Holy Prophet ﷺ and knew that they were not just words, something that we have reduced them to today…..THAT was true love..

And if you do fall in the category of those people who claim that you love the Holy Prophet ﷺ more then others….Do you even KNOW Him (saw)?... If we do not KNOW someone we can not claim to love them…

Another sign of loving someone is obedience….the lover is always obedient to the one he loves….so if we do not do as He ﷺ has said, can we claim to love Him (saw)?

So what exactly are the signs of loving the Holy Prophet (saw)?

If a person doesn’t attend Milad….Does he not love the Holy Prophet (saw)?

If a person refuses to grow a beard and/or doesn’t follow the sunnah….Does he not love the Holy Prophet (saw)?

WHY should we love the Holy Prophet (saw)…I mean what was so special about Him (saw)?...If you were asked by a non Muslim, what would you say?

And who gives anyone else an authority to judge the love of others?

And could you honestly put you hand on your heart and say that you love the Holy Prophet ﷺ more then everyone else?...... And if put to the test could you prove your love?

How do you show love?

Well follow the qur'an. (and sunnah. Thanks for pointing that out LilSis)

In Surah Baqarah Verse 144:

Just to change this thread around a bit without starting a new thread. WHY do you love the Holy prophet (saw)?

It’d be nice if we could all list one touching incident/example from the life of the Holy Prophet ﷺ which made your heart fill up with love for the Holy Prophet (saw)…

Is it the Miraj incident? Taif? Tolerance He showed towards non Muslims? Rights He gave to women? Intercession hadith?

Give the reason why please…

I love the Holy Prophet ﷺ because of his beautiful personality, total perfection, none like him ﷺ has come to this world and never will...

This day and age we see each other fighting amongst each other..... however when the Holy Prophet ﷺ was preaching Islam, and the enemies of Islam couldnt hack this new religion they would abuse the Holy Prophet ﷺ and hurt him with stones.

Now this was Allah's beloved, the Holy Prophet ﷺ could have had them wiped fromt the face of this earth but no the Holy Prophet ﷺ beautiful as he is prayed that these people would come to the right path, that they too would recognise the beauty of Islam. How can one not love such an amazing personality?!

We love our parents/sister's/brothers but what we dont realise is the Holy Prophet ﷺ loves us more than our parents/sister's/family/friends etc. When the Holy Prophet ﷺ came to this world these words were on his lips "“Rabbi Habli ummati”(O Allah forgive my ummah)!

Also on Miraj Sharif the Holy Prophet ﷺ went to see His Lord Allah (swt), now seeing the beauty of Allah (swt) would make one forget everythin but still the Holy Prophet ﷺ asked Allah (swt) what gift was there for his ummah, and this gift is namaz.

Lastly on judgment day, he Holy Prophet ﷺ will be worried for his ummah and will be interceeding on behalf of us all to make sure we are all in heaven and that we are not suffering.

Yeah so thats my reason because i feel its impossible to have faith if u dont love the Beloved of Allah (swt) and i dont think its possible for one to not love the Holy Prophet ﷺ when he ﷺ has done countless favours for his Ummah out of love.

I can't think of anything that I dislike in the least about the Divine Messenger.

I love everything about the Holy Prophet Muhammad.

However, since the mystical lady asked as to what we particularly like in Prophet's life, I will say that one of my favourite episodes in Prophet's brilliant life is the incident of Mubahila.

There his blessed family sparkled brighter than the greatest star in the galaxy.

it is a Shia festival but sunni's too believe in the incident. however there is some difference between the Shia and sunni interpretation ie of who the Prophet (pbuh) meant by Ahle Bait.
