It showed an alligator whats up in that clip earlier.

Tigers can do anything

Actually, tigers are very able and graceful swimmers.

I'm trying to think of the last time I saw a dolphin stalking majestically through the jungle though....

He dances with ecstasy and delight.

We worry about every little thing,
But once we get drunk on that love,

Not that I particularly miss Eric Pryde "Call on Me" remixes

Now that's just pathetic.

are you kidding, I started editing that picture two days ago and had to stop cos I wanted to sleep (Hayder you won't understand this point so don't try.)
then finished last night.

"call on me" was pretty good but its got nothing on Raihan, their Arabic is weally weally good.

Constitutional law isn't that bad, never studied it in too much depth though, some of the founding fathers could be lyrical. I think it was our old friend Madison who had the audacity to say too much representation could be detrimental to Democracy, and he actually made a decent point of it (one of the federalist papers, i laugh if you actually have to read through them. mwahahaha) imagine what James Otis would have said to that! Lol

lol read through them? I grew up on them! My great great great great great grandfather wrote some of them.

Basically the federalist argument is that too much democracy will lead to mob rule or anarchy, while too little will lead to the destruction of personal freedoms.

That was more or less the position of all the federalists.

Federalist 10 is where Madison most strongly condemns the idea of too much popular input, he discusses "factionalism" which basically we have today in the form of Special Interest groups, as a result of the popular sovereignty reforms of the 60s and 70s.

Good work, the Tiger thread now six pages and we've increased the amount of American politics on the board, Congratulations! Biggrin

The Tiger Thread needs to get back up to 40 like before.

...and I need to stop talking about the US more.

I know I irritate people with it.

Consider it a Sunday resolution.

Hobbes!

There really should be a thread completely dedicated to Calvin and Hobbes

Surprisingly there are a number of members totally unfamiliar with C and H

Criminal if you ask me

sorry Sad

[b]Okay I henceforth the Tiger thread is also the official home of Calvin and Hobbes!

If you find a C & H comic somewhere post it! That way all the members can enjoy.

Including Angel

cuz i dont know who they are, so if u explain why i should not hate them then maybe just maybe i will start likin calvy and hobby

Okay.

Calvin is a little boy of the general age of "young." He spends his day daydreaming and going on imaginative adventures with his stuffed Tiger - Hobbes.

Hobbes is only hobbes when hes with Calvin - all other times hes just a regular stuffed Tiger.

What makes the comic funny is when reality and Calvin's imagination crash into one another.

Susie is his neighbor that he is always picking on - but she's clever and gets back at him.

You are definitely susie.

How can you hate Hobbes!?

He's witty and advises Calvin - and he's Susies friend since Calvin is so mean to her.

I think i've been logged in all day but I went to the early service this morning a movie later in the day held off on lifting until an hour and a half ago - picked up some dinner and BAM

Here I am.

Well i'm also chatting with Annette on AIM.

But I am also here.
