(i think thats how its spelt) was the awliya responsible for the mystics behind qiwali..... you know when you hear Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan making them noises, da da da na na ra ra sarey gama nana padeeeynin nina etc..........its actually a language, and an art very few have mastered

he created these sounds out of pure love and devtion, and they mean something....something i dont know

May Allah grant him peace.....oh my god i love Nausrat Fateh Ali Khan's voice, its amazin...has anyone heard him recite before one of his Qawali's "Ya Nabi Salam alaika" oh my that is just out of this world, its read with so much love, well thats what i think cuz it has an effect on me.

If anyone wants the ringtone(well its him actually reciting it, no a tune, if you get what i mean) i'll send it through my mobile, its lovely (only for the girls)

the only urdu things 786 have done are 'Allah Hoo' (as a part of the track called 'Nasheed Medley') and 'Tajdar-e-Haram' (original is by the Sabri bros).
u can listen to 786's first album on www.786boyz.com but unfortunately the 'Tajdar-e-Haram' link hasnt been working for a while... (thats the only good song too!) :|

angel, i listened to 'Ya Sayyadi' since irfan had linked it and u recommended it... the lead's voice is really good mashaAllah, but to be honest, i think the background sounds spoil it. :?

I personally don't like their style for some reason, But they did have one decent song Heaven keys, i heard it at the Unity convention which was sang by two little kids and the lyrics are deep IMO.

PS I don't think we are taking full advantage of gmail. We can all share bare nasheeds, qawalis with each other through gmail. Hayder, you must have some decent qawalis.

I've got about 15 tracks stored on my gmail account, but that's only taken up 5% of the space.

yeh i dont like their songs much either, theyv copied from here and there, not much originality at this stage, but the guy who sings in urdu has a really good voice mashaAllah, which is y i think Tajdar-e-Haram and Allah Hoo are the best ones 786 have done thusfar.
tru, Heaven's Keys does have very good lyrics.

gosh, just realised i've never actually heard the full version of 'Tajdar-e-Haram' - i heard it at the Islamic Relief concert, but i ges they didnt do the whole thing as its fairly long.

u mean the zikr in the background? i love that, it makes the naat even more beautiful, i love naats that have zikr at the back.

Ordinary. But also a bit of Remix.

The remix is not as bad as it is on some NFAKs.

i dunno, it's a bit 'harsh' if one can say tht, i mean its quite a contrast to the beautiful voice of the lead.

I like the "contrast" i dont know, i find it easy to lose myself into the naat while zikr is being done in the background, your doin 2 things at one time, listening to the naat and doin zikr in your heart

was it the cd from YMO? a cd with about 20 odd trax ffrom different nasheed artists?

they have another urdu one, more of a remake of a popular song - yaro yai dosti hai

they are not that bad, 786 - half good half bad

good voices, some of the music direction im not fond off, but generally i look out for thier stuff

Anyone know of any naath/nasheeds for a wedding. The only one im aware of is the Zain Bhika's wedding song? Other then that there is very little on the internet?

yeh that dosti song is copied off Junoon right? its on 786's new album.
