also try to spread the word for The Revival by getting the right people involved with the mag.

Salam everyone,

Just thought i’d give you a lil feedback on the camp, firstly I am lost for words, this camp was something which can’t be described in words. Shaykh-ul-Islam gave us so much in a spiritual and knowledge sense. Every moment in his presence was great, he gave lectures for 3-4 hours and you wouldn’t even realise it was that long, he also said he didn’t want to keep his lectures dry, so he joked and he has the best sense of humour ever, totally cracked everyone up.

Also one of the brothers after listening to a lecture on the love of the Holy Prophet ﷺ he just hugged Shaykh-ul-Islam and said “ I want Allah (swt)” and he took his shahada in front of everyone at the camp, subhanallah. His name was Martin Adam and Shaykh-ul-Islam after asking him if he wanted to change his name, renamed him as Muhammad. M. Adam. So again we had the privilege of seeing Shaykh-ul-Islam’s impact on others. It truly was a blessing.

The first lecture was on the history of compilation of Ahadith as some people don’t give importance to Ahdadith in the sense that Islamic Law can be derived from it because Holy Prophet ﷺ has the authority to do so as it is stated in the Quran that Holy Prophet ﷺ doesn't speak by his own will/desire rather by the will and desire of Allah (swt). (In the process of typing these notes so will post them asap inshallah)

Second lecture was regarding the life of Imam Bukhari (ra) as this was a durse on Sahih Bukhari, second part of this lect was regarding ones intention behind doing a deed.

The third lect. was regarding the love of Holy Prophet ﷺ and its importance and how this is the essence of Iman.

The fouth lect was about diff aspects regarding Aqaid (belief), also here Shaykh-ul-Islam mentioned the concepts of imam/islam and ihsan.

The fifth lect was again regrading Aqaid and how one can reach the highest station of iman and how to go through the different levels of nafs (ego) to reach a complete pure nafs.

The final session was a Question and Answer, few Q’s as such were asked; “how to maintain the level of spirituality gained in this camp?, Can a women travel without a mahram/Can women visit graves?/What are the aims/objectives of MQI and how many of them have been achieved so far?/What is the best age to marry?...

Also we had a Q&A session with Shaykh as-Sagarji from Syria but before that he gave us a brief lect on tasuwuf (sufism), he was asked Q’s like, what has attracted you to Shaykh-ul-Islam and MQ?, How can you get closer to Allah (swt) spiritually, what is the most important thing in tasuwuf? etc etc. An excellent lecturer he is.

I’ll add as many notes on the above as possible, but right now I am tired. A nine hour journey back home from 8pm-5am can get a wee bit tiring...Also i'll add some pics. Also another amazing part was the hadra (dhikr)

Overall, I didn’t want to come back from this camp, to me out of all the presence’s with my Shaykh this has been the best and inshallah this will definitely help me change myself for the better, Shaykh-ul-Islam gave us everything and the least we can do is act upon it and become true lovers of Allah (swt) and the Holy Prophet (saw).

but it certainly feels sad to be back, but inshallah its given the uplift i needed to become a better person in all senses.

easily did that aim, without talkin about terrorism or anything, it was about the Ehsan - the beauty of Islam, the love of Rasulallah (saw), it was about Rasulallah (saw)'s life, and so much more, it was something out of this world

and alhamdulillah more than 570 people were there to witness it

I don't think this was a main aim, more of an inevitable consequence. You cannot learn about the truth of Islam without realising that extremism is not in Islam.

Al Hidayah. Shaykh ul Islam is the hammer that has shattered the stone of my heart. The sun that has melted it. The rhythm it beats to.

Talking of rhythm, any one who missed out on The best Munshid in Syria Shaykh ABdur Rahmaan Hammaamii accompanied by Sidi Muadh al-Nass truly missed out!

😃 Great camp, now we just need to tell you all the news about the new direction of Al Hidayah. I think The Revival magazine is about to become obsolete. 😉 Seriously.

forgot to mention, Alhamdulillah a polish man converted at Al Hidayah camp!

it was truly emotional the way he hugged Shaykh Ul Islam, and Shaykh embraced him.......spent a few moments hugging Shaykh Ul Islam and weeping....and he looked up sayin, 'I WANT ALLAH'.

Mashallah!!!

Only when he was declaring shahadah did we realise the man had only been here for a year in the UK, could hardly speak or understand english. But being in the gathering of The Beloved Prophet (Saw) and his Eminence Shaykh Ul Islam.....Alhamdulillah brought the polish man to Islam.

Allahmdullah teh atmosphere taht was presesnt at teh time words cannot describe it. Same here first time i saw someone take their shahadah in teh present of our beloved shaykh ul Islam something that will never be forgotten.
