I'm male.

My son has been diagnosed with a disability. Alhumdulillah, there is a solution for it, but it isn't ideal.

This really has tested me, but nevertheless my imaan is intact and maybe even stronger. IA.

Maybe, in time, with stem cell research there will be a cure for it.

No disease or ailment without a cure right.

JazakAllah for the duas. Much appreciated.

may Allah make things easy for your son, I hope a cure is found soon to make life easier.

i have 2 family members with illnesses that make life difficult for them so i can understand what you're going through to some extent. But it's completely different when you are a parent, a parent would do anything to relieve their child of a burden. Just keep strong Allah answers the prayers of the righteous and the prayers of a parent for his child.

Aameen to the above.

Inshallah everything will work out well for you and all your family. May Allah (swt) bless you all with the very best of health and the strongest of emaans. I don't really know what to say, I have a friend who is currently going through a testing time with her child too. May Allah (swt) make it easy for you.

Thanks for the messages.

It is very trying and pushes your imaan very hard but Allah SWT says:

DID PEOPLE THINK THAT THEY WILL BE LEFT FOR SAYING WE BELIEVE WITHOUT BEING TRIED AND TESTED * AND WE HAVE TESTED THOSE BEFORE THEM, SO THAT ALLAH MAY KNOW THOSE WHO ARE TRUTHFUL AND KNOW THE LIARS

So this is what it is.

But its a hard test and it will be a hard test for my child as he grows, but it hurts because without a seconds thought I would take this problem on myself, if it meant my child be spared.

Alhumdulillah, I know other parents with kids in harder situations or some who have lost their children. So I'm pretty lucky!
