The Simpsons is one of the most moral shows in TV, the family really love each other, they do so much for each other and they accept each others flaws.

What is so 'unislamic' about the morals in the show? I can think of episodes where strong family values, telling the truth, accepting other people's differences, staying faithful to one's spouse, forgiveness, not loving money/fame, and many other things are encouraged. I can't think of any shows where there are 'unislamic' values are presented.

in one show they dissed or said something not very nice about makkah. since then i've stopped watching it.

Don't get me wrong, I loved it a lot. Nowhere else is the complete display of the extremes of the BEST and WORST of human nature. It was a place for me to forget the outside world and all my problems back home, it put everything in my life into perspective. I want to go back soon, and many times after that.

But for a non-Muslim, let them say what they like. Even if its about Allah (swt) and the Prophet (saw). I like Free Speech (whatever people are saying), do you really think we could do the Revival Magazine without Free Speech? In a Christian country it would be blasphemy to say that Isa (as) was MERELY a Prophet or that Muahammad ﷺ was even a Prophet at all (yes, I know you know this already).

Actually thats not true. In one ep Homer gave up beer FOR his family, bcoz they thought he drank too much. What does that tell you?

erm we need a separate thread for homer simpson lool. If i may add a comment, i remember hearing a audio "the shadows" new world order, and i was pretty sure i remember it saying the creator of show was a anarchist, and created the show to broadcast his believes into as many sweet homes as he could. Something like that years old but still available. Anyways i don;t know if i believe everything i heard in it,but i googled it and managed to find an extract concerning the simpsons and freemasonary:

Regarding Simpsons and Freemasonary 'fatwa'...

You have absolutely got to be kidding, Hajjar. Have you ever heard of 'satire', before? The episode was taking the mick out of cults like the Freemasons, and Homer thinking he was a 'god' was showing how large groups/crowds/cults of people can lead us to think we are something that we aren't. If anything, the episode was an effective warning at the dangers of following crowds, over-praising people, etc. and this can be seen at the end of the episode: Everyone gets fed up with Homer acting horrible because he thinks he is above himself, so they leave the 'Stonecutters' and start a 'No Homers Club'. I can't think of another mainstream tv program that deals with quite adult, philosophical themes in an accessible and entertaining way. Maybe South Park.

The trouble is, people don't ever look beyond the surface of something. This is why they hear Homer say 'I am god' and think "ASTAGHFIRULLAH! A KAFIR-MUSHRIK PROGRAM IF I WATCH THIS I WILL STOP BELIEVING IN THE ONENESS OF ALLAH (swt)!!"
