The ending should not make a diference, but I think gmail is fighting a case in the uk, and atm on the safe side has deactivated gmail.co.uk in favour of gmail.com and googlemail.co.uk.

and is there a story behind the email addy?

the usual 'your username/password is incorrect/invalid' - summat along those lines.

i took irfan's advice and tried again, till i got this message: 'The maximum number of 5 login attempts has been exceeded. You are not allowed to login for the next 30 minutes.' :roll:

And then there is the problem of tracking the person down.. I can track then pretty far though... (I have used visualroute in the past... nice graphical display, but it does not always go all the way...)

click the login box, then forgotten password... it will guide you to make a new password.
