Hi, my name is Steve; I am a trainee police officer with Greater Manchester Police assigned to the Oldham division. Believe it or not but part of the training with GMP is University based. I recently spent some time at MMU studying Social Capital and Muslim communities with Basit Shah, who some of you may know. He is the director of a non profit organisation called Vision Associates based in Oldham.
