but he does make a valid point that we should educate the ignorant about Islam. I think that is the main problem in the UK and elsewhere is the lack of knowledge that non believers have about Islam. Most non believers obtain their info from the media who we all know exaggarate and portray Islam to be a violent religion. Hence the reason why non belivers are violent towards muslims of afriad of us.

I think it was a good speech by a great liar Blair.
At least Tony Blair recognised that Islam is spreading fast and there is nothing he can do to halt the rise of the Divine religion.
Allah had told us that He will made His religion supercede all other faiths.
That means no one can stop it from happening.

I think the idea is to bring Muslims with a tolerant, progressive outlook into the mainstream by way of a public endorsement that Blair hopes will sit well with the Muslim public, and thereby to muscle out those more cynical or hostile views that cause Islam to be viewed with suspicion and ideologically collapsed with supremacist followers of more radical sheikhs. It's a quite open "plot" and, much as there is plenty of potential for it to backfire, one that possibly does Blair much credit.
