1. i need to tone down on my freespirits. dont want to scare away potential friends. no...i have to lure them close to me THEN make them as crazy as me! no seriously, its good to be, you know, yourself, but Lillyself is a bit too much of a handful, wouldnt you agree?
2. -"you're SO cute" "you're so small!!"
=/
MAYBE if i..hmm...look posh? (by..hmm..wearing some type of smart blazer/vest thing instead of my usual jacketish Jacket), stand straight and stop slouching about, STOP wearing oversize hoodies/sports jacket. i bet if i wore glasses i would look growed up. AND maybe create the inconvenience of carrying my books in my hands instead of in my bag, that would look growed up? guetting a handbag would help but i've rather hmm..pass. What about shoes?! I think im gonna get boots from Hajjar-san's advice. GOD IS THIS ASKING ME TO GET RID OF MYSELF?!
3. Be more true to myself and not compromise TOO much with friends and stuff. Keep in mind the saying of the prophet about "Islam came as something strange and will revert as something strange just as it started so glad tidings to the stranger"
4. Not fall back in work. Do work before play and not the other way, that means homework before Revival.
5. i already know where im sitting in tutor time. second row from the back, seat next to window. I better be there early.
i think thats all for now, cant think of anything else.

You seem to be making a concious decision to "tone down" "yourself".

1. Lol i dnt think u shud tone anythng dwn. I thnk ull find ppl are far mor attractd to ppl who are a lil loud and positive. The crazier the better haha.
2. You shouldnt dress up or down for college but instead be yourself. A college is a chance for you to express yourself and this includes the way you dress. Let it be a form of saying 'here I am, my names lilly'. So stick to how you dress now. Ofcourse make an effort. No one likes a smelly slob.
You shouldnt be in a hurry to grow up. Being grown up is over-rated trust me. Remember your not getting rid of yourself, your just a work in progress
3. You should be true to yourself and others always regardless. But you will need to be open minded about other people. Just bcoz your at the stage you are spiritually doesnt mean everyone else is. Id recommend you simply smile and encourage.
4. Lol we'll see how long that will last. You should always concentrate on your work but there will always be ... distractions. Just endevour to get things done on time.
5. I dont think you should pre-select your seat. What if the people you like to hang out with sit somewhere else?
I think generally the person you become by the end of college is the person you'll always be from here on out.
thanks for writing out what i couldn't be bothered to write out

Gee thank Feef, you lazy sod. Now its your turn to do a "what i dont want in college".
Thanks Letters!! Really, mean it.
5. the seat one: going to new college, nobody i know there, so a seat next to the window will means im open to other people, but if "other people" arent there, i have a getaway (not jumping out, just looking out). also everybody knows that the row you choose says a lot about you.
First:Geek
SEcond:okay, i usually seat there
Third: still okay, a bit set back,
Last: b.a.d kids o.o!
1. i sometimes go overboard in my excitment and scare people away. I need to stay in check of myself. and sometimes i just do STUPID things and afterward, thinking back on it, could kick myself.
2.i just dont want to be called cute. But i cant imagine anyone in COLLEGE coming up to me, pulling my cheeks and saying how cute i am, but...you never know in a girl school...
3. ohh! you misunderstood me! i didnt mean to say that i would be all religious and stuff, just that, if people dont want to be friends with me, i just have to remember that saying of the prophet.
4. yeah, well, im famous for not caring about my work, BUT i gotta..you know...look studious or something round that line right?
Anyway Letters, nice to meet ya!
Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?
and i haven't really thought about things like you have. Anyway the title is what you DON'T want, yet your talking about what you do :S

Tutut! you bad girl! well i should have known..what with the poking an' all...
Power of Silence! In my brain! all of this is completely fine. and SHUSHH you're not suppose to point out thsoe things!
Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?
Lol i wasn't bad (ok sometimes i was)
Jihad of the Nafs (The Struggle of the Soul)
bad is fun.
as long as you dont push it to "real trouble" and if you're studious its cool.
edit: when i dont like the teacher, i usually just get the grades and mess around in class. but that doesnt happen often. Except when i had too much sugar..or the teacher is REALLY bad..
Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?
Sigh do i have stories for that one - although once it was when i didn't like the teacher, once because it was just fun to mess around and another where it was because it was the last resort - (these are just the times i remember)
Jihad of the Nafs (The Struggle of the Soul)
Fun time. especially being witty. and doing stuff the teacher doesnt know how to deal with, or doing stuff that arent punishable..
Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?
Jeepers you're just a baby still, don't read my post pleeezzz.... You're too young. I don't want you getting all upset and throwing your dudu bottle out the classroom window.
There is nothing wrong with being religious in fact you should try to be more religious. You don't need bad friends.

Urgh, wats wrong with you? Everyone's got their own life n experiences that make them who they are. Im not judging you as a sexist pig thats perverted, imgiving you chances n trying to see from ur point of view, its called respect. Try it sometimes.
Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?
I am just building on your life experiences, there are all types of people out there, be careful who you mix with. Do yourself a favour and become overly religious, there is absolutely no harm in it. Don't let other people tell you, you're too religious, there is no such thing as too religious. Don't think you have to fit in with the crowd, it does'nt work.
