well if you got out more...

Why go outside if you can read about this thing called "outside" online?

(and I do go outside... sometimes.)

They don't cover up the statues so basically everyone's having eid prayer surrounded by idols lol!

I remember Ken Livingstone getting criticised for allowing this by evening standard, so I wonder how they'll react now their beloved Boris Johnson has allowed this too.

Don't just do something! Stand there.

why cover the statues? they are not idols. i don't get it. its just big statues of lions. and lord nelson on top of his column. nothing wrong with that. your not scared your intentions going to waver and your gonna pray to the statues now are you?

lol. ok. its just someone said to me a little while ago when i told them about it. 'oh i went there last eid.' i was like what did you think? they said: 'all those idols, why do it around idols? the muslims these days are so messed up!' and she went off in a flurry of hijab ends and muttering isthighfaar to herself.
and me being a London girl got a bit annoyed with the ignorance of people of their religeon and the culture of the country they live in.
no worries though. did you go there last year?
i'm going this year, inshallah.

I didn't, I was living in Damascus last Eid. I stayed there for nearly a year.

Might go this year, but TBH I don't think I'll deserve a big party for eid after not doing anything for ramadan.

When u said eid on the square i honestley thought of Eid in the middle of Glodwick and not the centre of London. Dirol How tacky does that sound....
