Ed/Admin/Anyone that can,

If you don't already, you should have a full page advert for the forums somewhere in the magazine!

WE promote the website on front cover and top of every page
but this issue i am thinking of a small advert on the forums- wont be full page- will attract new ppl here. But i think every issue bring snew faces here anyway.

so to all the new comers- do you come on here after seeing the mag or by accidentally visiting the site?

haha.. thnx 4 referring 2 all the newcomers as having 'snew faces' haha.. well.. i think the revival forums are well gd.. but not if u start being mean 2 the new comers... just like u CLOSED the THREAD which was an INTRO about ME!!

meaniesss haha

Actually, the forum (has?) a policy that new members introduce themselves in the 'Hello new members' thread instead of creating new threads.

You're lucky that your thread was open for that long.

I am thinking about changing that. Lets the newbies have their own topics each I say.

That's not fair, we didn't make our own threads.

In that case we all should have our own personal threads... if not, why not.

You know what that means don't you... boring, pointless, useless comments being posted.

Whats done is done.

I can the original topic up... but that will be a lot of work... for me. I have not decided what is best yet.

why dont you just open up a new section for new members and a dua section or is that too much work for you?

There is a dua section!!

there's a difference between a thread and a section Funzo. wake up

Yeah my bad, you want a whole section?!? why not just a sticky.

Those who danced were thought to be quite insane, by those who couldn't hear the music...

so people can make individual dua threads, i thought that will be kind of obvious but obviously not

That's one thing I dislike about other forums, most times you just end up with a lot of short, kind of pointless threads. But newbies don't tend to post in the existing thread... what about making it compulsory?

Thats pointless just make the dua thread a sticky and leave it at that.

I do not want too many sections. If anyone wants others to do dua, just use the "general" section.

What I want to do:

1. Rename "Rules & Regulations" to "Hello New members", have a sticky "Rules" topic and put all the intro's in there, out of the way.

2. The rest stays the same for now.

3. After we move to new site and stuff, maybe get rid of the Tech Board allow anonymous posting again.

4. Maybe have an articles forum where people can comment on the article on the main side. Or we can leave it as is where people can comment directly on (most) article pages.
