Uplifting quotes thread

Asalaamu alaikum, I did a (small) search on the forum and couldn't find anything like this? If there is then delete this.

I thought I should start a thread where members can put up ayahs/ahadeeth which are uplifting. You could even post short stories or quotes that are not from the Quran/Hadeeth collections but as long as they are in context?

The Messenger of Allaah ( Sallallahu alayhi wasalaam ) said:

"Allaah rejoices more over the repentance of His slave than any one of you who finds his camel after having lost it in a desolate land."

‘Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a true believer verily, to him We will give a good life, and We shall pay them certainly a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do’ [Qur’an 16:97]

" In the Name of God The Kind The Merciful "

[ Koran 1:1 ]

Omrow

There are too many beautiful ones.

I like the one you (Alisha) are using for your signature:

' Nay, verily! With me is my Lord, He will guide me ' {26:62}

I read that in the translation, didn't Moses (pbuh) say it?????

Inshallah I will find some nice quotes and post on here to share.......

The media, government, tried to blow us, but they can't out the flame, or doubt the name.

"The reward of someone who directs somebody to do good will be equal to the reward of the one who does the action" (Muslim).

The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam (Peace and Blessings be upon him) has said "When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him." (Muslim & Al-Tirmidhi).

The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam (Peace and Blessings be upon him) has said "There was a merchant who would lend to the people, and whenever his debtor was in difficult circumstances, he would say to his employees. 'Forgive him so that Allah may forgive us.' So, Allah forgave him." (Bukhari).

The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam (Peace and Blessings be upon him) has said "O Allah, grant me life as a poor man, cause me to die as a poor man and resurrect me in the company of the poor.." His wife asked him why he said that, and he replied "Because the poor will enter Paradise before the rich. Do not turn away a poor man, even if all you can give is half a date. If you love the poor and bring them near you. Allah will bring you near Him on the Day of Resurrection." (Al-Tirmidhi).

Surah 24:35. An-Nur (Light)

"Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The Parable of His Light is as if there were a Niche and within it a Lamp: the Lamp enclosed in Glass: the glass as it were a brilliant star: Lit from a blessed Tree, an Olive, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil is well-nigh luminous, though fire scarce touched it: Light upon Light! Allah doth guide whom He will to His Light: Allah doth set forth Parables for men: and Allah doth know all things".

Simply beautiful.

In fact so beautiful I have made it my signature, shame I couldnt put it all down.
