Teaching assistant sacked after objecting to showing graphic 9/11 footage to students taking school to tribunal

Have you heard about the one where a (Muslim) teaching assistant was sacked after raising an objection toshowing special needs students a video from youtube of people jumping from buildings on 9/11 - a video which was labeled as for adults only by Youtube’s filters?

I am not sure though whether it is a good idea for her to reject the settlement as UK law is often something that uses money to settle disagreements.

Letter to my MP on plot to remove Jeremy Corbyn

Jeremy Corbyn Speaking at ATOS demo in London - 28 september 2013

Dear Jim McMahon,

I voted to remain and my family voted to remain. I also bitterly disappointed by the outcome as I think it will hurt worker rights.

With the resignation of the prime Minister there is a chance that we will be called to a snap election before the end of this year and the party needs to be focussed on winning this if one is set.

After the disapointing result in the EU Referendum, the prime Minister has already resigned.

Now there are already murmurs of the usual suspects in the Parliamentary Labour Party trying to subvert its members will and to carry out a coup in the Labour party.

I have recently joined the Labour party and I support our present leader, Jeremy Corbyn

British-Palestinian schoolgirl gets kicked out of public speaking competition due to Zionist bullies

Last week the above video went viral when a 15 year old spoke out as part of a public speaking competition for so eloquently speaking about Palestine.

British-Palestinian Leanne Mohamad, a 15-year-old student, won a regional final of the Jack Petchey Speak Out Challenge with her speech ‘Birds not Bombs'.

Online people applauded the eloquence of the speaker and many congratulated her both for the content and her success.

Not everyone.

Cue the Israel supporters and trolls going on their own mission to victimise this young speaker.

The BBC's response to my claim of Bias

BBC Scotland Office - Glasgow

I complained over the quality of coverage by BBC News recently and especially on its focus on attacking Jeremy Corbyn no matter what the actual local election results suggested - they had a narrative from before the results had been declared and IMO stuck to that narrative even when the result contradited it. The whole aim was to make Jeremy Corbyn look bad no matter what the outcome of the elections.

The BBC has sent me the following response:

Anti Muslim Craziness: "Muslim girl sent home by school in France over long skirt"

From :

A teenage Catholic girl who converted to Islam has been banned from attending a school in the eastern Paris suburbs because her skirt is too long.

Women must not be told what to wear unless they choose to wear something we do not like seems to be the mantra.

"Je suis hypocrites".

David Cameron, the friend of Muslims - NOT!

David Cameron

Over the weekend, it has emerged that David Cameron has written another set of identikit letters to various communities in London in support of the Conservative candidate for Mayor, Zack Goldsmith.

Previously there has been controversy when David Cameron wrote identikit letters to multiple regions as part of his charm offensive. Most regions found it offensive as the letters were all the same, but with the names of the regions changed - this was exposed by the Yorkshire Post which refused to go along with the charade.

The delinquents of ISIS

The news is full about the horrendous acts of mass murder that occurred in Brussels on Tuesday.

Following the attacks, some commentators from the right or far right wing were quick to link the tragedy recent Syrian refugees which have recently arrived in Europe in large numbers. Some even suggested that those that supported a humanitarian response to the events in Syria had blood on their hands.

Today it has been confirmed that the bombers were Belgian citizens who had not travelled from Syria - one had attempted to travel but was arrested and then returned to Belgium by Turkey last summer. These individuals were delinquents already known by the Belgian Security Services for petty crime

Ad Blockers

Do you use ad blockers?

I never used to, but recently on my home PC I started to use a to stop the PC from connecting to malicious ip addresses. This hosts file also blocked many advertising urls and ip addresses too.

One thing i have noticed is that the brwoser has become a lot more stable since I have started to do this and sites load faster too.

"Cessation of hostilities" reached in Syria

Syrian Army tank hit by explosives in Deraaya

As I right this, the time has been reached for a "cessation of hostilities" in Syria.

This is not the same as a cease fire, because, well, they wont be ceasing fire.

Some groups such as ISIS and Al Nusra will still be targeted by Assad. Previously, Assad and Russia have in the name of bombing ISIS bombed anyone but ISIS, so it will be worth noting what happens this time.

Other smaller groups may join the cessation of hostilities, or they may not depending on many things including whether they themselves are bombed and targetted.

I don't think that anyone really expects much to be accomplished here, but even an unfair cessation of hostilities is better than nothing because atleast the people will have some peace - if it works out.
