I found out on the night that he had managed to recruit others into the madness too and mashallah they had raised money for the revival too and would be jumping too.

First Day Out Fundraising.
Today was our first day out in the community fund raising for Gaza, because as i've clearly shown in other blogs I care & I really wana do summat to help the peopple.
We brought a stall at the local islamic school's summer fair. We had mendhi & water bomb games going off. We made £123.48 exactly, it lasted 3 hours from 1 till 4 and I think it went quite well mashallah.
We raised a good amount of money & we had a good day i'm absolutely shattered but it was a very good day. From being drenched by little kids with water baloons to talking to brothers & sisters about whats happening in Gaza and their views on everything.
Kensington Garden Winter Walk for Gaza
Muslim Hands Winter Walk is Back and taking place on Saturday 5th December 2009!
This year, set in the beautiful Kensington Gardens, in the heart of historic London, we invite you to wrap up warm, bring your family and friends and raise money in our 10 km sponsored walk. We’ll also be joined by Moazzam Begg, who will be supporting the cause and showing that we have not forgotten the continuing plight of victims suffering since the bombing. “Children in Gaza are growing up surrounded by broken buildings and a childhood full of difficult memories of losing parents and loved ones... the Winter Walk is a chance to show that we care for Gaza’s future as much as its past,” he describes.
Last winter, almost 150 walkers took to Hyde Park to raise more than £30,000 in emergency aid for Gaza. Through Muslim Hands, the money raised was used to provide ambulances, intensive care facilities, winter blankets and food parcels for families in Gaza. One year on, we’re looking to run programmes from its new Maternity and Childhood Centre focussing on providing treatment to 2500 children suffering from trauma and anxiety. Children will be provided counselling as well as being given the rare chance to enjoy sports activities, creative workshops and trips to the zoo. These experiences that have otherwise been denied to children in Gaza help treat emotional disorders - which otherwise hinder their education and emotional development, echoing far into their adult lives.
The Winter Walk is open to all. It will take sponsored walkers round the historic Kensington Gardens on a 10 kilometre route, starting from 10:30am. For more details and to register for a sponsorship pack, please visit the Muslim Hands website www.muslimhands.org/winterwalk.

I am curently raising money for charity and needed some ADVICE OPINIONS, im sure someone can help?
1)Wat makes u give £ to charity
(wat words dig deep in you heart, then make you dig deep in ur pocket)?
2)Wat fundraising ideas/activities methods hav worked for u in the past?
3)Any other tips, advice, suggestions welcomed
(by the way charity is Orphan Care Home in Pakistan)
