More Sections!

That is the beauty of this place.

Every where else there are loads of sections.

Here we are all in one (or two) snug places. Its less intimidating, and easirer to stumble across topics.

I have seen a few other forums with about 40 sections. That is an over-kill.

(and there is a hidden sisters-only forum.... invite only)

As always I am open to suggestions though.... SO if you have any good ideas for forum type, let me know...

It's better this way. Everything in one place.

Besides, on the 'bigger' forums people tend to use the 'new posts' option. This puts all the 'active' threads on one page. But The Revival is like this by default. So, it's all good.

I think this forum is confusing feel’s claustrophobic and cluttered , I tired to find a thread and to my frustrations I couldn’t find it. Have a few sections, Like Islam, Current affair’s and lifestyle and social, Inshallah you brothers and sisters should make poll and see what the general conscious is.

I diagree.

You just want to make it like the MPAC forum.

I often feel lost when I go there....there's too many sections.

We do have some more sections here like "women only" etc. But they are hidden.

I tried to find your thread regarding the diminishing academic achievement from Pakistani, Bengali and other minority groups, was unable too.

The Mpac forum layout is great and work’s well, it will be nice if this forum was a little organise – this is just purely constructive criticism and not a rant. Let’s all agree to at least vote on it, only 3 sections will help to tidy the forum up a little.

All the Islamic forum, I’ve been on has a woman sections and it’s hidden, the sister’s on MD have hijacked the brotherhood section and thus the brothers are scared to post there. :oops:

Thats cos the "search" option here is rubbish. It never works properly.

That thread was called "ignorance is NOT bliss".

Alveena is right, I get lost on MPAC all the time... and they seem to be organization Nazis which is really irritating.

We are a far smaller community - the place would seem desolate with different sections.

Agree with Dave and Muslimsis, i dont like forums that have many sub-sections, you get lost and confused which is why i hardly visit any other forums, they too scary for my likin!

The beauty of the revival is its simplicity and uniqueness 😉

it has come to my attention that in light of some discussions, i alongside many of my male peers feel restricted in the sense that we fear our posts may be subject to humiliating comments from our sisters.

what topics are you guys not comfortable discussing on the main forum that you will be allowed to discuss on the guys only forum? (and remember this is an islamic forum, so some topics cannot be discussed at all... which leaves 0 topics.)
