Salaam Admin,

(Sorry, I have to make this quick - I've just got home...Anyway, I saw your message at work and I did the following:)

From what I can see your font looks like a type of cyber/robot script...

It does look like a futuristic font... I have looked in many places online to try and find it... to no avail. I would have thought the 'A' to give it away... and I am sure I have seen it elsewhere...

Instead of finding a 'second best' of this tye of font, can anyone suggest a good font to use to remake the graphics? I will need to make a few, and also have the option to make future stuff aswell...

Maybe use a font similar to the one used for the Nintendo GameCube logo?

And

???

Is that the Star Trek font?

I think I onto something here! It is similar.

Again there are sligh diferences... but I am on the right track!

[edit]

From the star trek website... The 'S' is diferent... more curved.... and these have 'bits' missing

Found it!!!!!!!

Now I need to acquire it. There does not seem to be a download link, or a buy link!

[EDIT]

I am stumped. I had thought it would be easy to acquire the font after finding it.

However, I am running into problems! (nobuy links if its for sale... and no free download links either!)

[EDIT2]

Using the FederationTNGtitle (the fanversion i mentioned earlier) I can get:

[url=

The S is the only diference...

Salaam Admin,

Have you tried using the Trans Robotics font? It's the one that I used to create the 'Newsblog' images.

It's almost identical to the font you're after, and it's free, and widely Downloadable.

I hope this helps.

May peace be blessed upon you.

[EDIT]

I may give that a try aswell. I'll see which one fits in better.

I have updated the homepage. Its now the same as the testpage.

Ed wanted me to put some stuff on online... and this was IMO the best way...

On second thoughts that font does seem to look better...

I don't really trust you with the news. I think you should just call it The Revival Blog.

That is ok. We are not saying its unbiased news. I call it a 'filtered' news service... (oops deleted that line from the homepage... will need to add it) It may be biased. It will show the news from the angle the poster wants to show it. but it will make people aware of the news. Then it is upto them for the research. Google news can be handy there, as it links to all news items relating to the news...

I do not really mind what the poster puts on as 'it is not necessarily the position of the revival'. If anyone wants a login... just aask. (It may be dalayed now... I was dishing them out before... but that was before I made the whole site use the same system... articles should be screened, the news not.)

Nope. Maybe I should provide the news though, just somehow seems a lot safer.

It's awful when people laugh at your best shot.

Whatever you do, know that I will always love you. Or else.

why not?

what topics you wanna cover?

I have no issue with this.

"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'" - David Cameron, UK Prime Minister. 13 May 2015.

Great. Um, are these predefined topics? Then I guess we're talking something politics, either UK or World. Maybe 'intercommunal politics'.

Or more appropriate, and I think you or Ed extended a one-off invitation like this to me way back, maybe general Op-Eds. That way I could seriously cover topics of interest.

Or I could be your Editor in Chief, which is what I was thinking before you mentioned topics.

Come to think of it, since you have it that the author is accountable, I could also cover other news.

Big up yourself!

Some of the above is serious.

Whatever you do, know that I will always love you. Or else.

I retain editorial control. ('Ed is the Editor... but so far he seems to have ignored the website... even though he has a full editor account.)

Once again can you please look at the .

Forget the colours for now. I will fix them later. I want to get things into th right place first. And most graphics will hopefullt be replaced.

Are there any things in particular that need improving?

(I need to offset the news by two... I already know that... as it repeats the main news in there...)

Do I need the news by category? is it made redundant by the news items along the side?

"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'" - David Cameron, UK Prime Minister. 13 May 2015.

I don't like it.

BTW why have you still got that MPAC article in the newsblog?

good question.

'Ed told me to stick it somewhere... and I thought that was best.... but that was about 2 in the morning and I do not think i was thinking straight... I think I need to add a category in articles... mosques? what do you think?

And how do you see the page looking? (apart from colours etc... they will change once placement has been sorted out...)

And I need to do something about the latest articles... shall I stretch it, or do something diferent?

"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'" - David Cameron, UK Prime Minister. 13 May 2015.

I am gonna get rid of the right columns aswell....

Go for a pillars approach I think.

At top have feature.

Underneath have a 'pillar' of latest articles, another of latest news, and a third of Magazine...

To be honest I cannot find an elegant solution to giev as much information as is needed on the home page... maybe that means do not have as much on there? but 'Ed would probably not accept a sparse homepage...

He likes shiny things and like any true paki, the more the better.

I am more brit in my taste. keep things simple elegant. Uncomplicated.

So any ideas?

"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'" - David Cameron, UK Prime Minister. 13 May 2015.

5 pillars:

1. latest aritcles.
2. Latest news.
3. Magazine
4. Announcements
5. Multimedia.

Magazine will be where we say latest Issue: Issue 4 etc...

Multimedia will be a place to give links for well... multimedia. Like that documentary found by dust.

Announcements will be announcements either relating to the magazine, or other important anniouncements.

The first two are self explanatory.

But I need to find a way in which it will look good. I am failing in this respect.

"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'" - David Cameron, UK Prime Minister. 13 May 2015.

I am using the image for top ten.

They will be the latest ten to be added.

I seem to keep hitting a brick wall...

This is getting rather frustrating.

I think I have made some progress now.

Opinions?

I think it needs to be a bit neater :?

Just make sure most of the columns are the same width.

It does need to be neater.

I will try to explain what i am trying to do:

At the top there are two boxes. uneven sizing is intentional.

Next row the newsblog is pretty wide. Next to it are three columns of equal width. I need to make them of equal height aswell.

Under the three columns there is a further box. I am not sure wether to extend this to the bottom or not...

[EDIT]

The total width of all elements should be the same. The slightly varying width of the page is a mistake that needs to be fixed.
