Should Muslims wear a poppy?

Why do you two think it was wrong?

Is it because you want everyone to get along nicely?

I think its wrong also. And not because everyone gets along nicely.

It's simply wrong. Just like its wrong burning the Quran.

And even if it is to 'get along nicely' whats wrong with that? Is that not what the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam (Peace and Blessings be upon him) taught? Do not discriminate against other religions, live in peace, accept the Laws of the country you live in except if it goes against the Shariah. How does burning the poppy go against Shariah? Poppy is there just for remembrance. Have a heart.

Your own soul is nourished when you are kind; it is destroyed when you are cruel.

We are supposed to discriminate between right and wrong, so in such cases it is important to know that the reason for being against those actions are not wishy washy ideas about integration, about fitting in etc, but because we actually think it is wrong.
