Lol, I remember that, but not in primary school but infants. Alhamdulillah they were slightly more chilled at the primary school. And in the infants you were not allowed to leave the table until you finished everything on your tray. Even if it meant a dinner lady standing over you or even feeding you herself! :shock: They certainly were ruthless. I remember loads of kids crying in the dinner hall. Luckily, we rarely stayed school dinners. My little bro went to the same infant school years later and he would cry if he had to stay school dinners.

Primary school dinners were AMAZING!!!

Except when we found little metal bits inside the cake one day (the custard masked it though, so it was all good).

You have to remember that your rose tinted glasses are from before a time when you had discovered chillies.

Assalamu alaikum,

Of course she converted because Allah guided her but the initial interest came when she heard the adhan. I don't agree with what you said about Allah diverting ppl from islam with hymns. Or my family member converting simply because Allah guided her. Because on this basis if someone left islam, you;d be saying Allah diverted them. You're missing something here Allah gave us a free mind, on judgment day Allah will look at our good and bad deeds why because we had free will to make decisions. Free will is what made this girl think wow this adhan has touched my heart so much, i will go and look into Islam. Then Allah guided her. Free will is likewise what turns ppl away from Islam, or remain in ignorance. Free will is what makes them ultimately follow shaytan, not Allah. This is going off topic a bit sorry.

Yes, I looked that table thingy. the BEST non-private comprehensive was hovering at 27% I think. Others were closer to 20%.

Private and CoE schools on the other hand were closer to 89/90%.

I'm sure (and by 'sure' I mean 'sure') that is MUCH more to do with the social class of the students being accepted into the schools, than the quality of teaching.

Try looking for a league table that has 'value added' scores on it to see how good the schools actually are.

Depends on which percentages you look at - there are also "absolute" percentages which are not year on year change.
