Hijab is fardh. For both men and women.
However there are diferent arts to hijab. Some fardh, others waajib, others Sunnah, others liked.
Covering the hair for women is waajib, as it was ordered through hadith. Same with keeping the beard.
Now you cannot really compare as you either you have to keep a beard, or cover your hair.
In simple terms either you are either male, or female.

erm. i dunno where u got that from Admin. :? covering of the hair for women is undisputedly Fardh by all schools of thought. there are two specific Quraanic ayaat which are referred to with regards to Hijab (24:31 and 33:59). something being 'ordered through the hadith' does not automatically make it waajib or less...
for example, in the Quran, we are told to establish salaah. the fact that we have to refer to the sunnah to know how to do so does not make the act any less Fardh.
similarly, the Quran says that believing women "should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof" and in the same ayah we are told to do so with a 'veil', the exact arabic word used is 'khumurihinna' (plural) u may have heard it as 'khimar'. even if the covering of a woman's awrah is explained in ahadith, this doesnt make it any less Fardh, or 'Waajib'.

Hijaab is fardh. It is ordered through the quran.
The Qur'an orders women to cover their bosoms.
The hadith ask for the covering of the hair.
That makes Hijab fardh, but the covering of the hair a waajib fof hijab.
I may be wrong here though... But I am pretty sure this is how it is.
in practical terms, there is no real diference between fardh and waajib. The diference is wether denying the act is a sin, or disbelief.

I get that all the time from some of teh brothers who have a bigger beard, the fact is if you clean your beard up from underneath and it visible, consider it a beard. At the end of the day Allah swt know ur intention.

I'd call that stubble
but anyways-beards are cool
every guy should have one WITH A TASH (hint yuit)
and guys should spend their time on it-make sure it looks neat

Stubble IMO is anything under grade 1. That is definitely a beard.
Sis don't get me started on the tash, it digusting, but it does look good on some people i guess :roll:
Long beards are cool, but it need too be maintain, which alot of people don't do.

I tried making my tash shorter but it got messed up.
So currently I have no tash.
lol-u guys are amatures when it comes to maintaing ur beards
my dad is ALWAYS making his beard neat-he has a small neat one
and my bro is an ammature too-when he messes his lines or his tash up he just ends up shaving his whole face
Nah, my tash is normally 0.5, so too avoid that shining effect you get with a clean shave, that does look silly IMO. I tried the tash, but just feel like a stupid paki with it, so didn't keep it.
