This thread is for jokes, poems or any inspirational stories (hint hint muslim kuri!)... so here goes......

Generous lawyer

A local United Way office realized that the organization had never received a donation from the town's most successful lawyer. The person in charge of contributions called him to persuade him to contribute.

"Our research shows that out of a yearly income of at least $500,000, you give not a penny to charity. Wouldn't you like to give back to the community in some way?"

The lawyer mulled this over for a moment and replied, "First, did your research also show that my mother is dying after a long illness, and has medical bills that are several times her annual income?"

Embarrassed, the United Way rep mumbled, "Um ... no."

The lawyer interrupts, "or that my brother, a disabled veteran, is blind and confined to a wheelchair?"

The stricken United Way rep began to stammer out an apology, but was interrupted again.

"or that my sister's husband died in a traffic accident," the lawyer's voice rising in indignation, "leaving her penniless with three children?!"

The humiliated United Way rep, completely beaten, said simply, "I had no idea..."

On a roll, the lawyer cut him off once again, "So if I don't give any money to them, why should I give any to you?"

I know a love story-its tragic tale of heartache, pain and misery

long ago in a faraway land -a proud, upright arrogant man shunned by community as a "madman" fell in love with a girl

tis was a strange thing as the man did not seem capable of winning the love of a woman-surprisingly she too fell for him- and he fell for her despite knowing little about her

he changed drastically as person, he recited love poetry for her sake and became deluded/mad as one afton does become when they're in love

he loved her because she was the only one who protected him from the malicious taunts and insults of his enemies. She saw goodness in him whilst others only picked up evilness

Alas fate was not on their side as the girl was already promised to a man not of her choosing and liking. The couple were in turmoil as they didnt know how to wed one another without breaking the hearts of their kin.

They decided to sacrifice their love and forget about one another-his beloved decided to marry the man her parents chose for her-but her heart would always belong to the madman

No body knows what happened to the madman-some people said that he is sumtimes seen wondering the jungle muttering incoherent lwords to himself-

he is still shunned by the community as a madman

...tis a true story 😢

Check meds "how do you know when your in love" we kinda think well we know that med is in luuuuuuuuurve and apparently so is hayduh cuz they both are getin all mushy? so no there isnt a girl there are girls involved :shock:
