We're celebrating eid today, monday. I always thought that muslims started ramadan (fasting) on the same day but I was wrong when I came into this forum, and now I see that we also can't agree on the day eid should be.
We all know that we are not supposed to fast on eid, so say for example I fast today and celebrate eid on tuesday, wouldn't that be wrong?
Well it all depends on what country you follow. If started with Saudi then you'll have you eid with them and if you started with Morocco then you'll have you eid with them. It all comes down to the moon and whenever that is sighted you do eid and if it isn't sighted, eid automatically comes the day after of the final fast.

It'd be wrong only IF you strongly believed that it was Eid today....
My sister is in Uni, my dad and brother have gone shopping, my mums in the kitchen and my close family and friends are all fasting.
This is one of the lamest Eid ever.
Eid Mubarak anyway.
