Malta is really gorgeous, less hot and more interesting from a historic standpoint.

I have been Pakistan 3 tyms........dont count it as much of a holiday, its not my taste. Gowin 4th tym in abit.

Dubai was en route to pakistan, and the rest of family was already in pakistan.....me and my bro went dubai to meet a friend first, chilled and then went pak
you go Umrah or Hajj when you get the call, and Inshallah this year, i feel ready to go.....i think!

Dubi I would really like to go, but the only places I have been to is London, Scotland, Pakistan.
I did go recently to Pakistan in the last year or so before starting college, I went with my mum for 6 weeks, the other time I went to Pakistan was on my Uncles wedding and before that when I was really small about 2-3 years old.
But now my mum says if we are to go anywere we will go to Umra and Hajj.

and to those of u who've heard loads about Dubai and wanna go, i'll be honest with u: u might be disappointed. its been made famous by its rapid development over the last 30 years or so... if u like shopping and eating, its the place for u. i guess for the more adventurous lot theyv now got that indoor ski slope, but it wasnt there when i went and trust me, after a while it is possible to get bored. i'm not much of a shopper, or a good eater, and on every other corner there, ur likely to see a shopping mall. get kinda sick of it after a while.
other than that, its great! hayder i hope u went jet-skiing, its so cool.

mm dubai is a waste of time. It's a shoppers paradise, nice weather, impressive modern buildings but that's it really nothing special about it. Hubby been there a few times he didn't like it. Most ppl stop off their on way back from Haj :roll: Usually the women want gold. Don't understand that you've just come back from haj insha'Allah your soul is as clean as a new born babies heart and all you can think of is gold, for heavens sake get a life :x

Ive only ever been to Pakistan, its alright but not my kind of holiday!
Places i would like to see include:
Saudi Arabia, New York, India, Dubai, Tunisia, Egypt, Turkey

All the same when we stand to lose something maybe, fair isn't a word in my lexicon. Put her in that kinda danger? Never. I won't risk losing her. I don't care how much she wants to go - i'll send her post cards, but under no circumstances am I allowing it.
I'm very much looking forward to it though! It's my parents graduation gift, never been.
I've been thinking of going off the tourist track to see what the real deal is with the Palestinians first hand - obviously my interest is both historical and religious so I will see those sights... but politically my interest is picqued.
