Sorry for making this topic negative.

"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'" - David Cameron, UK Prime Minister. 13 May 2015.

Your not helping your cause, just because some deobands wrongly disrespected your sheikh you cant go around being paranoid that every one is against you.

Those who danced were thought to be quite insane, by those who couldn't hear the music...

what the hell are you on about?

what deobandis?

what’s there to be paranoid about?

and lastly, at least try to make sense before you speak.

Is it my fault you have a short memory span, i am making sense, please dont say im not when i am making perfect sense you just seem like a fool then.

Those who danced were thought to be quite insane, by those who couldn't hear the music...

i repeat: YOU ARE NOT MAKING SENSE, YOU NEVER DO

and where have i once implied that everyone is against ME or did you mean MQI?

Im just saying your going all defensive maybe because shazan and that kamila disrespected your shaykh and now any form of questioning is seen as an attack.

Those who danced were thought to be quite insane, by those who couldn't hear the music...

how am i getting defensive? and as you said 'maybe' so stop assuming.

My reaction to your grammar.

Guys please stop this, its petty.

Shaykh-ul-Islam doesnt ask people to celebrate his birthday, when you love someone you do something to remeber them.

When anyone from Minhaj-ul-Quran celebrates Shaykh-ul-Islam's b'day its so we can get together, praise our beloved Lord (swt), our Beloved Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam (Peace and Blessings be upon him) and our beloved Shaykh. Its also to do dua for the healthy life of our Shaykh and generally for the whole of the ummah.

People here celebrate b'days for their children/family etc out of love and we do the same for our Shaykh who we too love.

I rather this thread be an education for those who don't know Shaykh-ul-Islam, so those who havent read the article I have linked, i do encourage you to read it, the link again:

Thanks
