Anti-Terror Lessons For Islam Wives

Anti-Terror Lessons For Islam Wives

TAXPAYERS are to fund evening classes to show Muslim woman how to control their men - and stop them becoming suicide bombers.

Communities Secretary Ruth Kelly will this week stump up £650,000 on a string of courses across Britain.

They aim to teach the women "confidence building, communication skills, negotiation and mediation".

Ms Kelly hopes the women will then be able to persuade husbands, brothers and sons not to be tempted to become Islamic terrorists.

She said: "The vast majority of UK Muslims condemn violent extremism - as I do. But Muslim women carry more weight than me where it counts."

The women will be taught leadership skills by local business chiefs.

What to say, lolzzzz, is a good start, then WTH , followed by so according to the Governement its the fault of the wives
that Muslim men turn to what they refer to as " terrorism" and not foreign policy in Iraq and Afganistan?

These Government people in my opinion have lost the plot totally and should be locked up instead of innocent Muslims. What does everyone esle think?

It may or may not be a good idea but it is a far better campaign than yours.

Dude, you're getting your info from The People - a Sunday tabloid.

Taking the story at face value and analysing it is a waste of time.

It's like your desperately looking around anywhere and everywhere for stories with which to criticise the "government".

BTW are you HT?

Showkat,

Ruth Kelly doesn't want British subjects taking on the vile ideology of terrorists and recognises that many Muslims are not fully cognisant of the affiliations of their friends or potential spouses. It seems like she has a strange way of combating these groups, but as I said I find it preferable to spreading cynicism and offering Islam as the panacea to exaggerated problems and crocodile tears. Having read your junk and seen other places you post it I believe you are a party on a mission to guide other Muslims towards militant politics.

What is this vile ideology of terrorists according to Ruth Kelly, does it have a name?

Muslims should be aware and concerned with our friends and spouses who live life based on other than halal and haram, this is the main issue for us.

As for Islam being a panacea, I'm sorry that you disagree, but I read that in the Quran.

As for my posts being junk, surely your not accusing me of committing haram?

I await your calm, polite and reply based on Islamic adhaab inshAllah

A good name? Islamism, Jihadism, Political Islam, Fundamentalism, Islamic Extremism, Qutbism, Mawdudism perhaps. Probably none of these names are extremely satisfactory. Maybe you can suggest a better one but there are many who testify that the correct name isn't Islam and I respect that. Various jihadi groups also have names. ßeast was wondering if you are involved with Hizb-ut-Tahrir. It is an ideology whereby liberal countries are inadequate by comparison to rule of the caliphate, and proactively seeking to attain dominance by various means including threats, violence, legal obfuscation, political activism and a variety of complaints as reflected in your poetry and other comments.

So you dont see Islam as a complete way of life with laws for every aspect of society?

As for the Caliphate is this not a valid idea from Islam?

So please tell me the way forward for the Islamic ummah and what is the silution for whats happening in Iraq, and elsewhere?

There are sneaky things in your post, and I am not sneaky and also see no requirement to take the bait.

If you wish to bring respect upon Islam, as do most people here, earn that respect by being dignified, friendly and wise and not by conspiring for revolution, following militants or attacking "the kafir".
