Big Brother's burka sister

BIG Brother bosses are set to introduce a veil-wearing “burka babe” into the house.

They are on the verge of selecting a Muslim girl with strict Islamic views for the series, which starts a week tonight.

Channel 4 chiefs don’t believe her appearance will trigger anything like the race row that hit Celebrity BB earlier this year.

Executives are desperate to avoid anything like the outcry over the treatment of Bollywood beauty Shilpa Shetty, 31.

And after lengthy meetings they decided a devout Muslim girl wearing a veil or headscarf would command respect in the house.

The housemate would also be able to educate the others about her beliefs and customs.

It is possible she may even wear a full-length gown covering her body.

An insider said: “There’s a strong feeling housemates this time round will quite rightly show the maximum respect for anyone from a different culture.

“We also believe that such a scenario could prove a fascinating learning experience for everyone involved.

“There’s a feeling that the show needs to prove that there are no racial
barriers and bosses are keen to have housemates who reflect all sides of society.”

A show spokesman said: “Big Brother never confirms housemates prior to the reveal on launch night.

What do the makers of Big Brohter hope to achieve?

Notice how Islam has become a source of controversy and the Muslim woman the focus for western interest.

We as Muslims have a big duty to educate non-Muslims about our belief, how it is based upon intellect and not blind faith like the evolution thory.

Also Islam is a way of life which has solutions for socital problems and the Caliphate existed for over 1000 years and set new standards in many areas of science and technological advancement.

the shinning is quite an old film. Its based on the book written by the famous author stephen king (you must have heard of him), hes wrote alot of horror books. I think i was bought 10 or 11 when i first watched that movie and it gave me nightmares for ages lol.

It is a disgusting film. It shows a fully naked woman where you can see all her bits everything; she is not even wearing nickers. Kaafirs make most shameless films. I discourage everyone from seeing it. I cannot believe brothers like Seraphim and naz are advocating it. Please dont ask sisters to watch it. Would you like your mother to see it?

i think there are more important issues than whether u can watch particular films, seriously.

whos better: someone who never watches films and doesn't listen to music but also doesn't wake up for fajr on time

or: someone who watches all types of gory horror films, even at cinemas (free mixing!?!?!?!?) but prays Tahajjud and fasts mondays and thursdays?

of course only Allah knows, but we can speculate...

Also, unless I'm mistaken, I thought they were both sisters who you were addressing.

firstly im pretty sure there was no naked women in it. I remember a dead mummy in the bath but no naked women (you must be thinkin of sum other porn movie you been watchin :twisted: ).

wouldnt it be inteersting to have 10 muslim men... (no intermixing yeh lol) ideally scholars or famous muslims living in a house...to see how they get on, react, what they're really like...their true personalities, etiquettes....

This programme is sooooooooo boring i admit i did watch it when it first started but now i just cant be bothered with it. As for the 10 muslim men in the BB house they probably will sit there preaching all day long and thats no fun to watch!

No you have misunderstood me or maybe i wasn’t very clear (in that case my fault, sooooorry). When i was typing that i had scholars in mind. I think it would be funny to have some of the brothers of this forum on BB.

1. The house would be nothing without the great preaching Malik. He would drive everybody nuts with his religious babble. He would talk about killing/converting the kaffirs and America.

2. The newbie to Islam Ya'qub. Like a breath of fresh air he would spend his days discussing Islam and telling ppl that they should take their non Muslim friends to mosque lol.

3. Seraphim would be the neutral one i think when its all kicking off between Malik and Ya'qub hes the main brother who will step in and calm it all down.

4. *cough* lazy *cough* admin he would sit there all day because he lacks motivation and be munching all day lol. When he finally does find the motivation he would enchant everybody with his knowledge of computers.

5. Ed he would just talk, talk, talk and talk some more however, this could be seen as a good thing because it means Malik wont be able to preach lol.

6. Mr Honey the only Jewish person in the BB house.
