My little sister has imaginary friends named "mud and stick"
so dont take serioulsy the rubbish little kids come out with-they dont know themselves what they're talking about half the time
Kids having imaginary friends all the time, completely normal. For various reasons. Nothing to do with TV.
Kids are like sponges they may not fully understand what we're saying but they'll take it up and try and imitate.
so y do kids have imaginary friends? i remember i used to have some (kind of) until i was about 9 or so... tel u that freaky story later...
but besides that^, anything kid-related, discuss it here. some members here are married, some have kids already - what is ur advice on bringing up kids?
those of us who are single: what is your outlook in bringing up ur own kids, would u do anything differently to the way ur parents brought u up?
do kids talk 'rubbish', or the pure truth?
is there anything wierd/funny that some kiddo u know has done? share it here... 😉
...and explain y u think kids do what they do. 😛 🙂

o right so its not persian then?
hmm yeh i think Aph is right in that case - it must come from the same root letters as 'Huda' which means 'Guide' or 'Leader'.
cool. :)
I thought she said it was just the female form of mahdi...
mahdi means 'the guided one', all these names come from the same root letters...

Well with Hebrew words are grouped into sort of "families" of similar consonants.
I can't think of any examples so I will make stuff up but it would be like the word for "lord" would be "Adonai" made up of the consonants D N I and the word for king would be something like Dania with the D N I in a different arrangement - but the words are linked by the family of consonants they belong to.
Or something like that - I found it really confusing when I asked.

yes arabic is similar to that aswell. 3 root letters have a general meaning and anything connected to that subject/topic are derived from these 3 letters.
'ilm - knowledge
'alim - scholar
ta'leem - education
mua'llim - one who guides
etc
