Hate... no not hate... for hate is the path to the darkside.
I wouldnt say we hate him... I think we recognise him as a disciple of Jesus (as) but not a messenger of God.
I think the biggest beef we have with him is that he supposedly had a vision of Jesus (as) who asked him to preach.. which is all fine and well... but as some Christians believe Jesus (as) was God then St Paul automatically is a messenger of God.
Obviously the biggest problem with that is that we dont believe Jesus (as) was god.. we believe he was a prophet and therefore St Paul was simply a disciple of Jesus (as).
I think in the Quran it does say that there was no messenger between Jesus (as) and the time when Muhammed (pbuh) arrived.

err, actually, if you ask a Bible historian you will find that Paul never even met Jesus (as) so cannot really be called a disciple. He was a pagan at the time that Jesus (as) was alive according to the Bble. he also attempted to kill Jesus' brother James.
Muslims don't hate Paul but we DO believe he changed the message of the Bible from worshipping God (swt) to worshipping His Prophet (as). I know a large number of people who have converted from Christianity to islam for precisely this reason.
This doesn't however mean, there is any feeling of hate.
Hope I havn't said anything innacurate or offensive
Don't just do something! Stand there.
This thread is not a good idea. As for Paul he did not meet Jesus, nor was he a prophet - that is why he is called apostle instead. I think her question is answered, let's close this thread before certain regular troublemakers turn it into a bash Christianity frenzy.
To show my ignorance, I was thinking, Who is St Paul?
I really need to leanr some of this stuff.
I will not allow this topic to degenerate into hate.
PS Mods - I think we better start enforcing some rules. Especially #11.

"Mrs" Snowbunny, actually. And that's quite enough.
This question was answered by Seraph from the beginning, speculative obiter dictum about St. Paul and the early Church will offend her, giving her information written by apostates concerns me, and the fact Malik gravitated toward the thread pushes it past the tipping point. Close the thread.
