Conversion to Islam

Salam

Just find two adult Muslim men and say before them this sentence with conviction:

" I bear witness that there is no other god besides Allah, and Muhammad is Messenger of Allah. "

It can be said in Arabic or in English.

Do that and from that moment you will be considered a Muslim in the sight of God.

The rest will be history.

Continue to learn directly from the Holy Quran, God's own Sacred Book and you will be fine.

Dont ever listen to Wahhabis like Bin Laden. They follow Satan.

Most likely a bad idea! :oops: (how many mosques do you know that employ a proper scholar who can speak english?)

o stop being so pessimistic admin! honestly...

aidan u shud b able to go to the mosque and proclaim the shahadah - even if the imaam (leader of prayer) doesnt speak english, someone from the congregation will translate for u, it shouldnt b a problem. failing that, dunno how often u go to london, but regent parks mosque is a great place to proclaim the shahadah - i've heard from a friend who accepted islam there that there is a great atmosphere and they are very helpful. good luck and may Allah's Blessings be upon u always. 😃

incl classes for converts ran by converts

there happens to be more converts here as well

but that's missions away for you

so just contact ur local mosque pref one with a english speaking Imam

and muslim sister-all revival names are copy right-call urself muslim women or muslim gal or muslimah

Congratulations on your decision. Do you know any Muslims in your area ? I did not realise you were non-Muslim when you ordered one of my PC-CDROMs, I would not have accepted your payment, you could have had it for FREE.

If you do not know any Muslims locally let me know. I will find someone locally to you who can visit you and help guide you.

My wife is a convert from South America and we know many converts. If you need some friends initially on email then let me know.

You can exchange common situations etc..

If you find it hard to go a mosque of are not ready to venture out to a Muslim communty (to find 2 witnesses) then let me know. I may be able to drive up with a friend at a weekend and help you enter into Islam. No problem for us.

First of all if like to congratulate bro Aidan 4 wanting to convert in2 Islam as i think he has made the rite choice 4 himself.

As ive been readin thru the replys there hav been sum different points pointed out such as which mosque to go to n who to listen to.

Well about the qualified scholars what id like to say is that in the UK we hav got qualified imam/scholars which hav been sent from Pakistan by great Shaykhs n most of them do know English as a few years ago a sister converted into Islam from one of those scholars.

Also some of these scholars read english speeches out in many programmes that are organized around the UK so we can't actually say that every single scholar is not qualified.Well..they weren't qualified in this country but they were qualified abroad.

My advice would b that if u find the right organization which are sunni im sure ull find ur knowledge the rite way too.

Now unless I'm confusing Aidans so far I've seen Aidan here, MPACUK almost a year ago, and MD before it was shut down.

Islam is a religion with vibrant boundaries, within which Muslims flow and strive to reach paradise. Once within the boundaries of Islam the room to manoeuvre is extraordinary, but yet we want to limit Islam? Also wanting to impose these on others.
