How does it look if the guy works all the time and comes home and she aint done diddly. Dont get me wrong im all for 'you gotta give a little love to recieve a little love' but that dont mean she should take advantage of his good nature and assume he wont mind if she doesnt pull her own weight (and no thats not a fat joke).
yeh the girl should do her bit and so should the guy, its all bout compromise, if the wife doesnt want to work and and has no kids then she should take into consideration that her hubby is away all day at work and he will be tired but the hubby should also consider my poor wife has been in the house all day workin, i should help around a little bit...and if the wife and hubby are both workin then housework should be split half way, its only fair, the conclusion is its all bout compromise...
man is asking for it when he puts down his wife in fron of others
man also asks for it when he teaes his wife about her weight knowing that she is sensitive about it

Oh Comeon!!
This is exactly why a sense of humour is soo important (she knows when to take him seriously and when to simply laugh it off), besides its not his fault if she cant take a joke every once in a while... just to keep her on her toes.
Calling someone fat is ok. Calling them overweight it ok. giving them advice is ok.
Howeveer 'Fatty' is a childish term. Says more about the person using it than the person being called it.

I dont think ppl should go round callin fat ppl fat esp. if its their wife/hubby cuz if those who are closest to you say that its more likely to hurt but i think women and men should take in2 consideration that being fat isnt attractive nor eating like a "pig"..

Its not bout honesty, but i think women should be nice and look attractive for their husbands but if a girl is havin problems losin weight then her hubby shouldnt be an insensitive idiot . He should encourage her and tell her she looks beautiful nonetheless!

HELLO earth to LilSis; it takes 2 to tango, and no man says to his wife 'put some weight on' plenty of women dont put tonnes of weight on after having kids... so whats their excuse.

If women would stop cornering their men and asking them something stupid like "Do you think im fat?" or "does this make me look fat?" then we wouldnt have to say anything. If we cant say something nice, we prob wont say anything at all. So stop puttin us on the spot.
Bottomline: As guys we're not too bothered about our weight. Ofcourse we'll go to gyms etc and keep an eye on our waist line but it doesn't bother us as much as it bothers women. Women should realise if they're gonna ask a stupid question, expect to get a stupid answer.
IMO if a woman is fat then she wont be asking her hubby questions like 'do i look fat in this' or 'do you think im fat'.....instead she'l be trying 2 lose weight!

unfortunately "trying to loose weight" and actually "doing something to loose weight" are two different things.
Remember, men will help if you want us to. Just dont ask stupid questions.

so what are you saying? that when overweight people 'try' 2 lose weight...it means that really they're not???!

What im saying is alot of overweight people say they're gonna loose weight but dont actually do it, bcoz they think its too hard, or they loose interest in it. If they really want to do it then they should be willing to put the work in.

We're willing to go to the gym with them. We're willing to go on the diet as well with them (for moral support if they ask nicely) etc... but as long as they remember having us along for the ride is a privledge not a right so dont abuse it.

you'v got a point IMO in cases such as these they need the extra moral support for the much-needed extra boost...

well if you men use your head sensibly then maybe you wont have to answer in a stupid manner to a "stupid" question..here's an example
wife: hun do you think i am fat?
hubby: no not at all sweety, maybe you would look nicer and so would i if we both regurlarly visited the gym
simple problem solved, hubby goes to gym to keep fit an in the process his wife is also fit!
Ofcourse he's gonna be nice to her. She knows he loves her really... even if they cant say it.

I dont see the humour in calling a Fatty a Fatty
There is no humour in calling someone fat. It's serious.
Being fat is seriously bad for your health.
Fat people need to know that being fat is a bad thing.
LOL-tru
but calling someone a "Fatty's" is diff to saying "being overweight cant be good for ur heart"
its not what you say, its how you say it.
Calling someone fat is ok. Calling them overweight it ok. giving them advice is ok.

and most of the times it aint as if the guy himself is all that to be cussing his wife's looks
exactly, i dont think it says anywhere that a guy can look fat as ever and his wife has to be slim! i think fat men and skinny ones look horrible.
