The British moan, criticise and complain a lot ….be it regarding the weather, traffic or inflation. Most people are always "stressed out"...
Modern research on stress has often focused on the fact that, living in the West, we have little reason for real stress, and we often exaggerate it.
In the past we’ve had moaning/whining threads…threads on stuff that annoys us/stuff that makes us angry.
So….why don’t we have a “count your blessings thread”.
What do we have that we’re extremely grateful for? What do we have that no one else has?
We should all list all that we’re grateful for in this thread…Allah (swt) has said that if we were to sit about count all that He has given us we will not be able to…
He’s also said that, those who appreciate what they have will receive even more…
So, count/list your blessings..(I’ll do so in a bit)

-My peace of mind/feeling of contentment and the stability in my life
-Living in a city with fantastic facilities for Muslims.
-Mum – and everyone else in my family
-Being a Teacher Trainee
-My friends
-My Islamic books
-The taqfeeq (ability) and opportunity to write/submit Islamic articles.
- The taqfeeq (ability) and opportunity to lead Islamic classes
-Being part of the Revival Mag. 😃
-My license/car
-The fact that I can eat out with friends ALL the time…and not have a weight problem.
-health
-Easy internet access
-Education

Please try make du'a that i become more grateful of the blessings of Allah ﷺ upon me. Its so easy to forget and become complacent!
