Sometimes. It depends on how the laws work and the circumstances.

If there is no crime that can be punished harsher than by prison as in the UK, then well... I don't think there is much of a call for change here.

The EU opposes the death penalty in all cases so it is very unlikely if not impossible that the death penalty would be re-introduced here... unless the UK leaves the EU, and that aint gonna happen.

But there is still an ongoing argument here regarding the death penalty.

only tourist buses are open-top, so only [b]nice[/b] cities have them. London, Liverpool, Edinburgh def have them, dunno about Manchester, Glasgow and Birmingham cos they're horrible!! (only joking. in fact I heard that Birmingham has more canals than Venice).

there is this woman who comes to the college prayer room and prays. she aint muslim but the religion which she follows is very similar to ours, in its practices i mean. the women have to cover their hair and wear long skirts, no trousers etc. the women have to also shave their hair (jews?). anyway, they also pray 5 times a day, they call their god Allah, they can only have halal meat, they can't shop at tesco :? but the funny thing is, they believe their prophet lives in leeds.
