Lol. That almost happened every other week with our form. We would make the teacher cry, she’ll run out and in the next 5 minutes one of the deputies would walk in.

Academics aren't clever. They just know how to dress up their opinions in fancy language.

Lol. Acedemics are clever. But ONLY in their field of expertise....ask them anything else and they're lost.

Nah i agree with Beast... i used to confuse the heck outta my teachers in college. lol infact he would forget what he was gonna say and id end up taking over... it drove him up the wall

I wasnt specifically talking about teachers...(is that what acedemic means? ) I meant all professionals/graduates/students etc.

But having said that, high school is hell for teachers. Regardless of your gender...but more so, for women.

If you have time when the listing ends, try and bid during the last 10 seconds before it ends (you've got to be quick though), it's called sniping and I do it somtimes and have won several times. It's legal and best of all leaves the other bidders pissed....if you win that is.

Academics are generally people who have studied at Phd level or above.

True...

And the teacher we broke was a guy... who was replaced half way through term with a woman teacher who was very strict.... ofcourse im an angel and I never did anything... Biggrin

Ebaying is second nature now. Ive bought and sold many things on Ebay. If theres something you really really wanna buy... do as Muslim Bro said... add the item to your watch list and within the last few minutes before the auction finishes place your bidd. Thats how everyone does it.

You need your parents permission or something

- Primary school playgrounds are the place to be if you enjoy watching middle-aged mums scratching, kicking, screaming and pulling out the hair of other mums...over something as lame as a tiff between their kids.

I've lost count of the number of mums I've seen being jumped over the years. :?

Yeh, its really common...and its not just cos I work in the schools. My mum/sister have seen loads more than I have, only cos they pick up my younger sister from school.

The one that really stands out in mind, is one that happened a couple of years ago...some mum hired out a car with tinted windows, called down her cronies from up north (her sisters) and slowly circled the back roads of school looking for a certain mum...they found her and jumped on her .....they proper scratched her up...jumped back in the car and drove off.

Proper gangster mums :?

-According to Ofsted some of the worst teachers are those who are way too qualified in their subject…e.g. a Physics teacher with a PHD in Physics.

-It is possible to miss those people whose presence usually drives you crazy.

-It is possible for ones passion, commitment, enthusiasm and zeal to die down over the years if one doesn’t regularly add “fuel to the fire”. :?

-It’s possible to be totally attached to your car, be driving 24/7 for over a year and STILL not know you own cars registration number, engine size or what type of petrol it needs.

-No one likes a grumpy person…its possible for a person’s rep to be ruined just if one person happens to catch them in a grump.

I didnt drive into school yesterday cos of the snow. I have no experience of driving in the snow and didnt want to risk it.

And this morning I was going to de-ice my car, so I could take it in...I didnt know how to do it....my mum suggested that I boil some water and pour it on the car. I was going to do that, but then I spotted some de-icing spray and scraper etc by dads car, which I used instead.

Thank God I did that...cos later on when I was on the phone to dad who's in Pakistan at the moment...he told me that had I poured boiling water on my car the windows would have cracked. :?

Pour boiling water!!!

I would think the paint would have melted, I use warm water, I can't imagine of pouring boiling water on my car.
