ADMIN HELP

Admin i'm going to bed

sort out this problem by 2moro

i cant see/access my PM's or any posts since sunday

i cant even see any new posts that i post up

it keeps on saying "invalid session"

i dislike this crossover in to other people's account as it means i can see their PM's

and this has been happening since sunday

I have just done a few things.... have a look now.

Try pressing 'ctrl' and 'F5' on your PM's to see if you can see them then.

Also once logged in on each page you have errors, or old data try pressing thr same buttons.

ok, I will try to give yuou a more permanent solution aswell.

I remember you saying you use internet explorer.

There click tools at the top, and follow that by clicking Internet options. This will bring up a big dialogue box.

Under temporary internet files, there will be a button called settings. Click it. This will bring up another dialogue box, and the top line will be 'check for newer versions of stored pages:' and then it will give options. Make sure that automatically is clicked, or better still, 'every visit to the page'. click ok, ok and then it'll be done.

it was set on "automtically"

now i changed it to "every visit to the page"

BTW i'm still having to press ctlr and F5 every now and again

is this gonna be a permenante thing?

The changes I told you to make should solve it for good.

For good measure you can go to tools, internet options, delete files, tick the box for delete all offline content, and then click ok, ok.

If it is still happening after that, I would a good scan of the PC for spyware etc... (if you're paranoid, it don't mean noone is chasing you...)

ctlr f5 is just an immediate solution whenever needed.

I just got an email saying that I've got a private message so I log in and see there's nothing in my inbox......

You see the four folders you have in the PM section? one of them is called the outbox shows messages you have sent, but are unread by the recipient Once read by the recipient they move to the sentbox.

You can go in and edit/delete PM's in the outbox before the recipient has read them.

yes.

As a workaround, click "delete picture", hit save, then upload a new one. That seems to work.

(A problem with that is that if you had selected an image from the preselected options, it deleted that from the server...)

when i upload a picture and click save an old on comes up. this is giving me a headache.

still not working, brings up an old picture. anyhoo, why can't we post in colour or in bold? it lets you post a paragraph in bold and colour but thats about it!

I don't know about being able to change the pic or not, but it shows me how many new posts there are.

No she just doesnt like you, lol. Tell her to scroll all the way down the messages are at the bottom.

does it take a long time once you create an account 4 ur details to be sent 2 u?
coz i got th message that its been sent, but i aint recieved it.

i tried doin th request new password like 2 or 3 times, but it won't send anythin 2 my E-mail ad, i dunno wots happenin. iv chekd th junk folder, its not in ther.

What username did you choose? you should get an email immediately.

I chose the user name that i'm using now, but it had 'Young' at th beginning,
it didnt say the name had been taken or anythin

k, found the account - it was created. Chances are that the email address you put in was misspelt.

Can you please send an email to admin@therevival.co.uk with your email address and a password you would like for the account?
