Should they stay or should they go?

You

Salaam

These forums were not set up for personal gain, or personal insults.

At the current time alot of posts are either just general, or personal attacks/defenses.

So my question is are these forums doing more harm than good?

SHould they stay or should they go? (not based on technical considerations... that is sorted.)

Freshi learn to construct a sentence that actually makes sense, I have not insulted you but you continue to make sarcastic comments on Tablighi, and you accused MED of making a whole host of accusations, aren’t you now a reflections of your criticism- better known as a hypocrite? Food for thought freshi.

Don;t you mean if you disagree with him, you will insult him?

I think it is best if you just ignore him and all discussions related to him. It would lower your blood pressure alot.

Live and let live.

Med is my brother and a fellow Muslim that is enough of a connection for me to resist eating his flesh. You make another wrongful assertions, why is it you don’t admit it...........but like a chameleon you disguise it? Correction…You was attacking me, and Tablighi Jamaat, as for the personal insult I’ve heard better. But TJ bashing… woe woe to you. You accused med of much worst- sound like you are a microcosm of the brother who u depict weekly.

Your going away? The best news I’ve heard all day. Allah Hafiz

That is an attempt at cracking a joke….. lol

I’m not employed by Tablighi nor do they reward me for what little I do. Insha’Allah, I’ll collect my ultimate prize in Jannah.

You’re all willing to fight for peace instead of chaos- I can agree to that. And let me take this rare opportunity to apologies to Freshi and you for causing any offence.

TJ's are getting a bad rep from people who call themselves TJ but really aren't (don't have an amir, don't do any real work abroad). My friend Emel was a TJ for a while. He explained to me that it's not really an organization as such, but a sort of collective movement aimed at reforming Muslims to stay more in line with actual doctrine, it's not political and doesn't affiliate with any particular sect so they have a great deal of currency in the Muslim world. On top of that he specifically told me all those irritating people that knock on my door and basically do the JW routine are actually just kids who are calling themselves TJs because they are wannabes. In actuality TJ isn't geared toward doing any work with non-muslims.

He's a good guy, so I'm inclined to believe him.

The door knocking routine is just a method to get people motivated and return to the Masjid, worked for me 8years ago.

And Emel is still active with TJ.

TJ have entered places I've not heard off to spread Islam in non-muslim countries 🙂
We're kind of like a big italian family. Lots of screaming and harassing from the boistrous uncles, the more quiet conscientious cousins find another room to talk in quieter tones about more important things, we all get a little crazy (good and bad) toward the end of the day when we're tired, do the family picture and head back to life.

But don't tell us we're dysfunctional - if so prepare for a storm of denials and yelling
