Why would someone say 'Karbala Mubarak'?

I didn't think it would be an occasion to exchange mubaraks.

I also dnt knw why ppl say Ramadan Mubarak or "Eid" Milad un Nabi salallahu alayhi wa sallam Mubarak. If you ever come across folk who say Karbala Mubarak then ask them.

Theres all types of weird and wacky folk out there.

I think I've told you about this before. If I am being strict, which is mostly when I am with family or strict friends, after the evening service is a family kiddush (blessing over a sip of wine) and a meal, after the morning service there are Torah and Tenach readings and then an additional service followed by a communal kiddush (can be scotch and soft drinks and cakes), followed by lunch with family and friends, time for study and play and, usually after the afternoon service, a third meal and then the evening service after which havdallah is made - another kiddush with candles and spices for a sweet week, and blessings - and Shabbat is finished. Before all the meals is a ritual handwashing and blessings as well as extended grace after the meals. Those are things I might do even if I'm not being strict, but strictly I mustn't use transport and complicated thingummies that might break and I can't fix things or get up to normal work, use any electricity, make a transaction including popping out for cigs, carry anything except within recognised boundaries of which there are very few in the UK, cook using heat, there are quite a few more and I can't even pick up an item that might be used for such things. They are all considered forms of work. I can chill, eat, walk, study Torah, socialise, be hospitable, do mitzvot (good deeds), pray, read, play games. Obligatory exceptions are situations in which health or life is at stake, such as a doctor on call or if one needed to phone the emergency services.
