salaam

very good but...

p12 of the current issue is a cunning way to tell youngsters that celebrating mawlid is bidah, birthdays are wrong etc....

its like our Ali and Jamal section.

was enjoying the mag until i read that....

thats what all magazines do... try to highlight their doctrine in their literature...

alhamdulilah revival in the mag , dont touch aqeeda...as there are more important issues than aqeeda... issues of aqeeda are not for magazines....

anyway...all in all its good stuff...

wasallaam

since u guys were making such a big deal outta it, i actually read that one article. it just happens to be in conversational form, that doesn't make it a copy. 😛
but Ed's right, the whole birthday thing put me off too, firstly because the arguments are not very strong, secondly because its not a definitive issue and many scholars do say its fine to celebrate from an Islamic viewpoint, thanking Allah for all that He has blessed us with (not talking bout mawlid here), and thirdly because there are way more important things to address in magazines.

what is wrong with copying?

If I saw an idea which I thought I could use, I would use it.

Information always benefits from collaboration. Knowledge is not like other substances which it decrease with use or sharing. If two people share their knowledge, both their knowledge will increase.

I don't think God approved the printing of that magazine.

So I don't know why you mentioned His Holy Name.

You belittled His Prophet.

Thats uncalled for, the scholors are clearly deobandi's, but my point is,

U can't jus say summin about a sect like that, people find it offensive, especially when u dunt prove it n jus blabber sum random rubbish

For example if i was to say "Omrow needs to b sent back to the mental institute, where he spent 15 years of his life"

now that was uncalled for, even tho i may have seen the evidence, i havent posted it, so its incorrect at the moment isnt it?

Hope i proved my point.
