I want to know what you, the contemporary Muslim Ummahs view on Motorbikes is?
Should Muslims have bikes in this Country?
I would really like to know what peoples view is on them.
Jazak'Allah

Its cos of the risk factor, ur family not being happy etc
moterbikes are WAY cool
sitting at the back of a bike with the wind blowing thru ur hair/hijaab is the best feeling in the world
but its SO not practical here in the UK with the freezing cold whether and the stupid get up u have to wear
family not being happy doesnt apply to all families
and risk factor....well theres a risk in driving too isnt there?
u have to put some trust in Allah swt and accept fate, but it is a slight risk i agree......but no reason for it not to be allowed!

Right im buying a bike tomorrow then, Insha'Allah
Motorbike are rubbish serve no purpose, bikes are only built for one purpose and that’s for speed and racing.
Tell me smoothing, have ever seen what happens when a biker is driving in wet conditions or on uneven road surfaces? However don’t let that deter you, and be sure to take out a private health insurance just for good measure.
Salam
She would still be cold ?
Tut. Tut.
Omrow
I’ve always had a thing about motorbikes. I love the wind on my face….Two of my uncles from back home have a bike and I’d always pester them to take me for a ride.
My dad’s youngest brother is the best driver cos he speeds like crazy….I must be crazy to love fast cars/bikes….apparently dad used to ride a bike like his brothers too when he lived in Pakistan….but now he rides them way too slowly….and there’s no point in riding a bike if you’re not going to speed.
Once I was with one of my uncles sitting at the back of his motorbike, holding on to him, and my bag of shopping and his two year old daughter who was sleeping on my lap AND I managed to keep my scarf on my head without it blowing off…I was well chuffed with myself.
I was thinking of asking one of my uncles to teach me how to ride a bike next time I visit Pakistan.
I don’t think bikes are practical in this country.
Salam,
I can see that there are arguments for and against bikes, one thing is a bike is way better than car!
As for the problem of riding bikes in the rain, simple, dont ride in the wet. Problem Solved.
I think it is safer to ride in the UK than Pakistan, here there is some order on the roads
Wasalam
u got the bike then?

Salam,
I was gonna buy one exactly like my old one yesterday after Jummah, however im getting getting a slightly different model,
Insha'Allah im going to buy it now, so make dua for me
lol motorbikes are cool. but then again so is life. difference is we cannot do without the latter.
my bro really wanted to get one a while back but dad wouldnt allow him, not even a scooter. my dads seen too many patients with injuries from motorbike riding and he didnt want my bro to take the same risk.

IMO moterbikes are not dangerous
I've rode BEAR moterbikes in the past
my uncles often sit their entire family on their bikes-incl little babies
its only dangerous if u dont sit on them properly
dunno bout 'back home' but i'm talking about the UK.

ppl do what they want
if anything-UK is safer
also they MAKE u wear helmet etc here
Asslamu Alaikum,
I didnt get that cos it was very dodgy and so was the guy selling it,
Im gonna buy a couple though to sell insha'Allah,
However I need to make you aware the dunya is no longer in my heart it will be in the driveway,
Wasalam
So Mr Kyah_baat_heh likes motorbikes?
Then thats great, we're gonna get on fine.
I like bikes too especially the superbikes...nice very nice.
Mom and dad wouldnt let me get one coz apprently they're dangerious... to which i replied: Thats kinda the point? A little danger is good for you... keeps you on your toes... unless your a girly girl and too scared. In which case im sure you'll do fine with a micra 1.1.
If your gonna sell them remember to post their pics.
