Palestinians have launched a legal battle to stop the work at what was the city’s main Muslim cemetery. The work is to prepare for the construction of a museum which seeks the promotion of “unity and respect among Jews and between people of all faiths”.
I find this a bit... strange... promote tolerance by desecrating a grave yard?
We were just talking about this on another thread. I agree that Muslims should be fully consulted if a burial ground is involved, although I am not sure we are getting the whole picture about consultations.
