ive jusy discovered Med has been banned...

best move Admin has ever made...

one member insulting so many people, sectarian from day one, very quick to accuse most people here of bidah (even though he doesnt understand the topic properly)...

now at last we can talk about proper issues without one person making every topic sectarian...

The Revival is about discussing every day issues facing the Muslims today...now we can start doing that again and not get bogged down about the size of the beard etc...

so people, lets make this forum alive, real and relevant again...

the forum was held back on sectarian issues far too often

maybe now we can all discuss without the need for hatred amongst [i]The Community[/i] - as voted by What!Forum 2006

dont get me wrong, he was good in his ways. but you cant go around net-preaching like he does

basically theres good reasons for allowing him and reasons for not

but one main thing is.....Angel and myself were extremely put off and upset by his comments towards our Shaykh - comments that were futile and had no benefit in them

on behalf of a few members, i put complaint to Admin - expressing how badly he was acting, and all the violations of forum rules

now after that....we all agreed to calm down - me included

that was his chance......but he blew it again!!!

what makes you lot so sure he wont act Holier than Thou again, and go off on one?

i dont mind the guy, we got on - jus wen he started the sectarian stuff, i couldnt stand him

but we got rid of Med so now there's no longer much of a chance of a 'slanging match' erupting... :?

and i dont think its fair to say people either love him or hate him, because i for one find myself completely in the middle - i said previously that my family and i had never heard of Dr. Qadri till i read his name on this forum...

Mod, last time was when Med started bashing Qadri - I simply had a thread about him, there is nothing to assume that the thread would go bad.

Besides it didn't break any [b]forum rules[/b] check out the [url=http://www.therevival.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1273]Mod Rules[/url] section on where your discretion ends.

We've requested that you guys have new powers in light of the Zarqa affair - to [u]enforce[/u] [u]the[/u] [u]rules[/u], and nothing beyond that.

Also it's very important that you provide reasons for your actions as outlined in the rules for moderators.
