Well privacy is certainly dead - I am very concerned about stalker webpages and have no idea why people create them. Annette started one a while back... you basically post all kinds of personal info about yourself.

Same with personal weblogs

There is also little to no academic control over what is being put up on the internet - rumors and conspiracies are almost always born on the internet now and are nearly impossible to kill. Anybody with photoshop and a lot of freetime can create a firestorm.

Also terrorists, pornographers, and other bad people use the internet to recruit, look for clients or victims online.

correct usage will bring inshallah wordly and deeni benefits...

misusing will bring within its wake various types of harms and bad in this world and hereafter.

its funny how some parents are so naive that they believe everything displayed within the net is educational and a tool for learning, they dont realise how evil it can be.

one of my auntys always praising her daughter that shes always doing her work on the net...and only i know what she gets up to really lol..she spends most of her time on chatlines.

both benefits and negatives as with most things.
