As such I have always TRIED to be mediocre in alot of things. I am not brilliant at sports, so there I was mediocre anyway.
But in actual studies, I would try to be mediocre. I would succeed until exams. They are my forte. I know how they work. Then after that the teachers would start getting on my nerves trying to push me to work harder.
I also had a temper problem as a kid. I still cannot fully control it, but I can mostly can control when I get angry.

Way way way too much attention.
Are you everyone's favourite, does ur mum favour you the most?
As u can see i am bored! But i feel like figuring you out, your too mysterious!
You and being angry again surprisin its amazin how different a person can be whilst on a forum
(you will not figure me out. I would like to figure myself out... others have tried... just best to accept...)
When not angry, I am as cool as ice. nothing NOTHING will get on my nerves.
But as soon as I lose it, you better watch out.
I am same here as in real life. mostly non-existant, but still there...
I am not the 'favourite' as you put it. right now in my mums eyes I can do no right. but still that does not take the attention away.
I do not know why people put up with me. I would not. I can find people like me extremely annoying...
(I have recently been testing the hypothesis that I hate myself... no conclusive evidence either way!)
btw, I would not call myself a mummies boy. I do live at home. But I iron my own clothes, put my own clothes in the wash... do some cleaning... (us guys have a higher tolerance for mess...), if needs be can cook, but prefer the takeaway.
And I cannot stand living at home... But I have resigned myself to my life.

Thing is this also means the reactions are fake. you will not know wether the person accepts what you say.
At work I have a stock response. a small smile with the nod of the head. ok. and its the same wether I am ecstatic or I am seething.
Some people find me too honest though... ('Ed hates it when I give out some nuggets on these forums. noone really picks up on them, but he has not learnt the art of editing, and deletes my full posts...)

I have a cousin like that. He came and stayed round ours for a few weeks. He’d get up around 1.00pm and just sit on the sofa and look at my face….expecting me to jump up and make his breakfast.
And the thing with him was…if I never made him anything he’d just starve. If he wasn’t a guest in my house I would have let him starve.
My brother used to be like that….but after he realised that no one will make him anything he started to pull his own weight. When he doesn’t like what mum has made or when he gets up late in the mornings he makes his own food.

I do not do anything, so cannot be classed as bad. But neither do I do anything good. This website is about it.
And I do not see eye to eye with my mum at all. The worst type of personality clash possible.
I do not care about anything, she worries about everything.
